STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

My cricket journey has taken me from humble beginnings in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, to the
professional level where I proudly represented my district in JSCA Cricket Tournaments between
2016 and 2019. Despite lacking a family history in the sport, my family recognized my
unwavering passion and enrolled me in a reputable cricket academy.This decision was pivotal, as
the academy's dedicated coaches identified my potential and provided professional training that
propelled my cricketing career. This made me realize the importance of training, mentorship, and
a supportive peer group for personal growth in both cricket and life.My cricket journey has
taught me vital life skills, such as hard work, collaboration, leadership, communication, forward
thinking and time management. These abilities have contributed to my success at top institutions
like DPS RK Puram and SLS Pune. Shortly after enrolling in SLS Pune, I authored and presented
a research paper at the National Conference on “Sustaining Lives: Exploring the Intersection of
Health, Nutritious Food, and Law” and got selected for internship in “Rehabilitation Society of
the Visually Impaired”.
I'm eager to take these learnings and contribute to the CPD Cell at SLS Pune. The cell's mission
aligns perfectly with my passion for personal and professional development. I'm excited to
collaborate with the team, supporting students in their career journey and building alumni
relations.I have faith in my capability to make a meaningful impact on the cell's progress and
achievements, and I would feel fortunate if given the opportunity to join the team.
