The little girl always believes that the buildings are

talking.There are so many old historical buildings where she

lives.Her mother once took her to Büyükada.She saw a big
wooden building but the enter was forbidden.
She asked her mother:
What is this building?
Once ıt was an orphanage.Greek Orphanage.
The children have no mother or father.May be there are no
one from the family.They don’t have any siblings. So who are
they are talking to,who are they opening to themselves.May be
that wooden building is their family andı it is talking with
them.
Can we enter Mama?She says.
No.It is forbidden and dangerous.The building can collapse.
I don’t want to happen anything bad to this building.If ıt
collapses,I can not hear the voices of these children. She
should pray fort hat.
Mum,can we go to the mosque?
Sure.
After one week they went to the mosque.They climb up to
marble stair cases.There was a big yard in the mosque.The
mosques name was Nuri Osmaniye Mosque. After praying
they went outside.The weather was well and the birds were
singing.The sky was embracing herself.After some walking
they arrived at the bus stop..The little girl was holding her
tightly while watching and trying to understand tourist
languages. They got to the bus.They got off the bus after one
hour later.There was a new city in front of them.

first.When they went to the top of the tower,a big shiny and
beautiful sea welcomed them.This building’s name is Hıdırlık
Tower.
This tower used to be manusoleum of a Roman hero

girl was surprised.
“Why doesn’t this building have a roof?”she asked.

“This is an open air theater”her mother replied.A building

doesn’t have a roof either.This building is from the
romans.There are many ancient cities like Xanthos Ancient
City. Olympos Ancient City.

This is Antalya.It means the city of Attolos
Little girl looked the city of Attolos fort he last time. It was a
unique city with ancient cities,waterfalls and sea.Can she live
without sea?
There was no sea in Mardin,but the sea was its stone
buildings. She saw Kasım Tuğraner Mosque in the city.There
was ivy on the door of the mosque.If I walk through this
door,I can go to another city.
When she entered through the door,there was another city in
front of her. A river was flowing from the center of the
city,cutting the city in half.When she asked the name of the
river,her mother said Porsuk River. There were two
storey,colourful,peaceful houses in the city.They would go to
see the houses,Odunpazarı Houses. She couldn’t believe her
eyes when she saw these houses. . She rubbed her eyes, were
these houses real? The bus was still on its way. She rubbed her
eyes. Her eyes seemed to open. They were reciting the azan
outside. Her eyes closed again.
The azan’s sound was coming from Kurşunlu Mosque. The
little girl asked who built this mosque.
Mimar Sinan said her mother.
The little girl asked if he only built a mosque in this city.
“Of course no! There are mosques everywhere. Istanbul,
Diyarbakır, Manisa have a mosque in every province.” said
her mother. Now she Was In The Muradiye Mosque In
Manisa.
When they were in Kurşunlu Mosque, they saw a statue.
“Who is he?” She asked.
“Mimar Sinan” said her mother.
When she first looked the mosque,she understood that ıt was
big.She has right.It is a big mosque. Before entering the
building with mother,they examined the ornaments outside.
She loved inside of the building and outside the building.She
saw a smilar two buildings near the mosque.
“Are these buildings mosques?”asked the little girl.
In the around of the mosques in the Ottoman Empire,there
should be a library and almshouse where poor people were
food given.
“Is there any other historical building in Manisa?”
“There are a lot of historical buildings in Manisa.We can visit
them.Let’s go the Sultan Mosque.”
“Do you want to learn the story of the mosque?
“Yes.Why not?”
”Many years ago in Otoman Empire the mother of
Magnificient Süleyman became ill and a doctor named
Merkez Efendi treated her with a medicinal mix.Her mother

After they ate Mesir Macunu,they went to the şifahane where
ill people were treated in Ottoman Empire.

medical museum.”
“This is one of the most interesting city I have ever seen.There
are a lot of historical buildings in this city. Hatuniye Mosque,
Kurşunlu Khan, Yeni Khan, Rum Mehmet Paşa
Bedesteni”said the little girl.She has seen a lot of interesting
cities in her country.Now she wants to see a new country.
Little girl and her mom went to Moldova with plane. Little
girl looked from the plane’s window. The view adored her.
When they arrived in the country, she told her mother:
- Lots of stars here! But it's very cold, let's go by car as soon
as possible!
They drove to the museum. The girl had heard a lot about
the Gagauz history museum from her mother.
- You'll love this historic building, sweetie!
When they arrived to the museum, the little girl really liked
the old stone building. They approached the museum while
she holding her mom’s hand tightly.

The next day the little girl and her mother took a flight to
Italy.

Roman amphitheater and the most impressive monument of
ancient Rome”, the tour guide said.
The little girl wanted to see another monument. They went to
visit the Trevi Fountain.
"Wow, mom, how nice… It looks like a huge swimming
pool", said the little girl.

“The Trevi fountain is the only ancient aqueduct still used
