The Jharkhand Academic Council will releasea detailed JTET Syllabus and Exam Pattern along
with the detailed notification on the official website. The candidates should be familiar with the
JET Syllabus and Exam Pattern along with the marking scheme of both the papers. The syllabus
for the JTET exam is an important piece of information for the candidates to know about the topics
which they are expected to cover for the exam. It is important for the candidates to check the JET
exam pattern well in advance in order to boost their preparations.
. Candidates who follow the JTET syllabus dedicatedlycan expect the best results and will
be awarded a JTET certificateand the certificateshall be valid for a lifetime.
. The JTET Exam will be an offline paper. It shall be conducted separately for primary and
elementaryteachers. Only the candidates whose JET Application Form is acceptedby
the council will be allowed to appear for the exam.

JTET Exam Pattern 2022
The candidates who wish to appear and qualify for the exam should be familiar with the JTET
Exam Pattern well in advance. Knowing the Exam Pattern provides the candidates an idea of the
paper structure. Check the detailed exam patternand marking scheme for both the papersand
preparefor the exam:
Paper I: Primary Stage
. The first paper of JTET is Paperd is conducted for the candidates who are willing to be a
teacher for Class I to V.
. The TeacherEligibility Test of Jharkhand will be held in Offline Mode. Candidates will
have to mark their answers in the OMR Sheet.
‘The medium of the exam shall be English and Hindi (Except other language papers).
{The Primary JTET paper will comprise five sections comprising a total of 200 questions
for 200 marks.
. The candidates will be awarded 1 mark for every right response while there will be no
provision of negative marking in JTET.Paper II: ElementaryStage
