OLIVE GROVE
CONSTRUCTION
P R O G R E S S U P D AT E
DECEMBER 2023

Now 80% complete, construction of Phase 1 of Olive Grove is ahead of schedule.

Construction of Phase 1 comprising 132 units of double-storey


homes is progressing ahead of schedule. Overall, construction
works have achieved 80% completion.

Architectural works (plastering, painting, tiling, roofing, ceiling


works, etc.), mechanical, electrical and plumbing works are all
well underway. Elsewhere on site, infrastructure works have
commenced as scheduled.

Construction of the clubhouse is nearing completion and will be
ready by Q1/2024. The guardhouse is making good progress and
is close to completion.

Sentul Depot’s versatility as a year-round destination took centre


stage once again in mid-November, hosting one of the most
anticipated culinary events of the year at its uniquely rustic and
industrial-themed site.

As the brand-new venue partner for Tatler Dining’s “Off Menu
2023” fine dining extravaganza, Sentul Depot was transformed
into a festive kitchen and dining space, which was easily achieved
at a venue vast enough to host a rock concert.

Off Menu 2023 saw the pairing of 10 talents from Malaysia and
Singapore, to showcase their skills and creative finesse under one
roof. The exchange of ideas and experiences led to the creation
of dishes that had never been seen before and were only made
available during the three-day festival, living up to the moniker of
the occasion—“Off Menu”.

Jointly organised by Tatler Magazine and the Singapore Tourism


Board, guests to the weekend-long gastronomic festival were
treated to an array of unique sumptuous eats, prepared and
cooked in front of their very eyes.

Aligning with the festival’s vibrant theme of Souk Bazaar, the


unique creations featured ancient dishes along the Silk Road.
Additionally, food aficionados were treated to a free flow of
drinks and a rare opportunity to interact with the prominent
chefs in person.

Sentul Depot’s colonial-era railway workshops which have now
been preserved and repurposed into a lifestyle hub provided
a dramatic setting for the showcase of celebrated chefs from
the two countries and their culinary creations. This adds to the
wide repertoire of events including concerts, product launches,
weddings, fashion shows, corporate functions, arts & culture
festivals and even sports and outdoor adventure events that
have been held at the venue, which is fast becoming KL’s most
captivating and trendiest event space.
