At an international conference for gifted children, Ryan Leeson and Kimberly Faulkner spoke
about the same topic, which is extreme weather events. They both wanted people to take action.
Ryan talked about the amount of snow that falls in his part of the world. “When it gets too cold,
then the schools are closed,” he said. Kimberly tells us that in her country it hasn’t rained for
months. “The weather is very dry, and it’s also really hot. Our schools close when it’s too hot.”
