1. Attendance (10%): The students' attendance is marked in the lecture classes (13 sessions) and
tutor classes (7 sessions) by the TA and the tutor lecturers.
* For lecture classes: if students have any questions, comments about checking attendance, you can
ask Mr. Quân.
* For tutor classes: students must attend the right tutor class informed by General Education
Department (GED). In case the student can't attend his class and would like to switch to another, he
must send the Application to GED at least 2 days before the tutor session. If the Application is
accepted by the department and 2 corresponding tutor lecturers, his Attendance mark is counted!
Students can ask the tutor lecturer to participate in any tutor class, in this case, if the request is
accepted the student can join that class without counted Attendance.
2. Students are not allowed to take the final exam if they are absent more than 6 sessions. In the
urgent/special case of being absence, students are requested for sending the applications to GED for
consideration by lecturers and the department.
3. During the tutor class, students can gain bonus points for their good performance, decided by the
tutor lecturers. A student can get maximum bonus point of 6/20, which is added with the mark of the
midterm test.
4. The midterm test (30%): tentative date: April 8 - 13 2024
- Duration: 30 mins
- Type: 15 questions MCQ using Moodle platform:
+ 10 questions in Electricity
+ 5 questions in Optics - the first Chapter only!
5. The final exam (60%): tentative date: May 17 - 30 2024
- Duration: 60 mins
- Type: 30 questions MCQ using Moodle platform:
+ 15 questions in Electricity
+ 15 questions in Optics
6. The retake (100%): tentative date: June 2024
- Duration: 60 mins
- Type: 30 questions MCQ using Moodle platform:
+ 15 questions in Electricity
+ 15 questions in Optics
