WORK ALIGNING WITH PROP MAKING

Greetings! I'm Roza Filippidis, a graduate from the Faculty of Fine
Arts at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where I majored in
sculpture. My fascination with the magic of movies and the intricate
worlds they create has been a driving force throughout my life.

From a young age, I was captivated by the ability of filmmakers to

transport audiences to fantastical realms. Whether through drawing
or sculpting, I found myself drawn to replicating the unique aesthetics
and atmospheres of these cinematic universes.

During my formative years, I developed a keen interest in the intricate

details of costume design and character portrayal, sparking a
fascination with the art of sewing. This multifaceted interest in both
sculpting and costume design has provided me with a diverse skill set
and an understanding of the visual elements that contribute to
immersive storytelling.

Now, armed with a blend of academic knowledge and practical

experience, I am eager to embark on the next chapter of my journey
as a prop-maker. While my contributions may be smaller in scale
compared to others in the field, my enthusiasm and dedication to
learning are boundless. I am committed to pushing the boundaries of
creativity and craftsmanship, and I am excited to collaborate with
fellow enthusiasts who share my passion for cinematic magic.

Thank you for looking into my portfolio, and I look forward to the
exciting creative endeavors that lie ahead.

“women in the light” is a play directed by a Greek Australian

director/choreographer based in Toronto, Ontario Nancy Athan-Mylonas.
My art was viewed during the play in Toronto, Ontario, Montreal, Quebec
and later this year in Leukada, Greece.
I was asked to recreate a painting of the image above, as well as 4 more
paintings of my own based on the play.
Based on the
progress of the
play and
character
development, I
created these
paintings.
This painting is

tragedy that got
placed at the

the play.
