Portfolio Entry No. 4: Company Rules and Regulations

1. What were the core values interested in acquiring? Do you think that
these core values are still relevant in our time? Why?

I agree because this is just for the safety of employees when they are at work.
So it is appropriate that every rules and regulations of the company must be
followed otherwise they can be fired. It is also nice to see an employee who is in
good shape from top to bottom. So that when you face people, you look decent
and neat. And the company’s name also depends on its employees.

2. Do you think knowledge of core values of community action, human


rights, social equity, gender equality and participatory development (and
how they should be performed properly) should be part of our education?
Why?

There is no mention of unacceptable rules and regulations. Because all this


refers to how an employee can be disciplined and how he/she will follow the
company’s rules. But if you don’t follow one of the rules and regulations, there
is a possibility that you will be fired. So whatever is written in the company
policy should be followed and respected. It is also important that you know how
to socialize so that you have friends and you are not alone.

3. What for you should one know to be considered an educated person??

For the operation of a company to have a smooth flow because if there are no
rules and regulations, there may be chaos. For example, without a proper dress
code, the employees will look ugly because it is not proper, there is no unity.
Another thing is what if an electric fan is left plugged in and it catches fire, the
company will burn and it may be completely bankrupt. So it’s only right that
there are rules and regulations for the good of everyone. And whatever those
rules are, the employees of a company must follow them.
