RECENT MOVIE ANALYSIS

(RE: 20TH CENTURY GIRL)

The storyline in this movie shows the first love and friendship of a high
school student. The movie shows the innocence and happiness of being a
high schooler it depicts time, and how life goes on despite everything. The
movie is complemented by 90s signposts, including VHS tapes, pagers, and
public phone booths which give nostalgic vibes to this day. The way the
movie ended was not the way viewers may like but it shows the reality that
a person may experience love, and loss and continue to live as long as the
memory of that person will continue to live in one heart. It’s a movie that
gives you old-school vibes and takes back to a time when everything was
just so simple, just having fun and no one had serious responsibilities.
Moreover, you will love the fact that it shows the value of true friendship;
that boys and girls treat each other with great respect. Further, the main
female character is independent and speaks her mind. In today's age, it is
good to see that a woman can be independent, know her rights, and speak
with her mind to show that she can stand firm in spite of all the odds of
life.
