African Elephant:

The African elephant, Loxodonta africana, is the largest land animal on Earth. With their
distinctive large ears and long, curved tusks, these magnificent creatures roam the grasslands
and forests of Africa. They play a crucial role in maintaining the ecological balance of their
habitats by creating pathways through dense vegetation, dispersing seeds, and modifying their
environments. Unfortunately, African elephants face threats from habitat loss, poaching for their
ivory tusks, and human-wildlife conflicts.
