KINDNESS

Choosing words and actions to benefit others without expecting a return

A. KINDNESS IN THE BIBLE

Ephesians 4:32
Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as
God through Christ has forgiven you.

B. REWARDS OF KINDNESS
1. ___________________
When we do something kind for someone else, we feel good. On a spiritual level, many
people feel that this is because it is the right thing to do and so we’re tapping into
something deep and profound inside of us.
2. ___________________
We all know that we like people who show us kindness. This is because kindness
reduces the emotional distance between two people and so we feel more ‘bonded’.
3. ___________________
Helping others lets you get outside of yourself and take a break from the stressors in
your own life. Also, this behavior can make you better equipped to handle stressful
situations.
