HSNC University, Mumbai, is a State Public University comprising - HR


College of Commerce and Economics, Churchgate, Mumbai and
Kishinchand Chellaram College, Churchgate, Mumbai and Bombay
Teachers’ Training College, Colaba, Mumbai. The HSNC Mumbai
University, which is being built on the strongest credentials of its three
constituent Colleges, continues to hold the baton of excellence high,
and move in the direction of setting loftier standards in the national
and international higher education scenario.

ABOUT BTTC

Bombay Teachers' Training College is a constituent college of HSNC


University, Mumbai and is recognized by NCTE and got a re-accredited
'A' Grade by NAAC (3rd Cycle) with a 3.28 CGPA. BTTC offers teacher
preparation programs for various levels ranging from Early Childhood
Education Program, Diploma in Elementary Education, Bachelor of
Education program, and Doctorate in Philosophy (Education). Today,
BTTC is emerging as a centre of excellence in teacher education due to
its prominent achievements in teacher preparation, in-service training,
research, extension services, co-curricular activities and add-on
courses. In continuation of these efforts of enhancing quality
assurance, BTTC is organising an International Conference (Hybrid
Mode).

ABOUT THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

The theme of "Creating Centers of Excellence: Enabling and Empowering Teachers" resonates
deeply with the vision of a developed India by the year 2047. In this transformative journey, educators
play a pivotal role as the architects of knowledge and skill development, shaping the future of the nation.
By establishing centres of excellence and empowering teachers, we lay the groundwork for an education
system that transcends boundaries and catalyses national progress. As we aspire towards
ViksitBharat@2047, envisioning a society marked by innovation, inclusivity and sustainable growth, the
role of educators becomes paramount. Empowered teachers, equipped with the latest pedagogical tools
and a commitment to excellence, will be instrumental in nurturing a generation of learners capable of
meeting the challenges and opportunities of a rapidly evolving world. Through this conference, we aim to
align our collective efforts with the vision of a developed India, where education serves as the
cornerstone for individual empowerment and societal advancement.

To contribute significantly to the enhancement of the teaching profession, fostering a global community
committed to quality education and sustainable development.
