Script for My School My World Project

1. Mở
Chào mừng mn đã đến với dự án msmw của nhóm lớp 8B0 (điền
số)
Good afternoon ( teachers and friends ), Welcome you guys to our
“my school my world” project. We're a team from 8B0. Now you’re
viewing our product after a period of hard-working time.

2. Details
a) About us
- Chamm, Halong, DienAnh, DGP, Hieu, ZyT, LQ ( 7 members )
b) Reason
About 2 - 3 months ago, when msmw was first organized, we all had an
idea of improving the school's environment, due to the fact that there is
so much garbage thrown in the wrong places instead of being put in the
trash bins. This issue is becoming more and more popular all over the
world, especially at schools. Therefore, we came up with this project
and now it’s called: Happy Bin.

c) Result & difficulties

Until now, there have been initial steps of project implementation
(about 2 works?). The first one is setting recycle bins. Unfortunately, the
recycle bins seem to be ineffective because of these reasons:
- Students were not getting used to classifying trash and didn’t
know how to classify properly
- Recycle bins need to be scientific and more suitable for students .
=> solution: Starting with classifying plastic, paper from food, then
divided them into smaller groups )
For the first one, we have already run a Facebook page where we
share our researchers, facts, issues and solutions relating to the
environment. We’re trying to write posts on this page as frequently as
possible. Additionally, we also hope cac em khoi duoi(descendants???)
will echo and continue managing this web even when we graduate.
That’s one of the biggest purposes of this “Happy bin”.
Advantages:
- detailed plans and creative ideas
- “investigately" prepared
Disadvantages:
- no suitable from of promotion (which helps others understand
why this is important -> fail)
- somehow inconvenient (especially on special occasions)

Slide 1: QUỲNH
It’s regrettable that most of the environmental problems
nowadays are caused due to humanities, especially problems
relating to litter. We can easily see their effects everywhere,
even in our school. Bins filled with trash, cans and bottles
everywhere after school become a normal and repeated scene
that people seem to be getting used to it. The challenge here is
that it depends on people’s decision, and we choose to leave it
through and suffer from all of its consequences. But the word
“we” here doesn’t include our team. We came up with this idea,
as a participant of msmw project, to improve our scholar
environment. It’s called “Happy bin”.

Slide 2 3 4: INTRO - QUỲNH

First of all, I want to introduce you all to my teammates. Here we
have Hieu Linh, Ha Linhh, Dien Anh, Tran Ha Vy, Tram Anh, Gia
Phuc and Lam Quynh.

Slide 5: “Why we did that” - QUỲNH

These are some reasons we did this project
First, it’s obviously our responsibility to protect our environment.
We rarely stop thinking about how our very lives are dependent
on the biodiversity of our planet, and even when we do, we
believe it’s someone else’s problem to sort out, but now it’s time
for us to act and do something. Sec, help students change their
habits of throwing trash indiscriminately: as a way to express
their anger or because of laziness. That is such a wrong action
and we need to prevent.
Then, Make it easier for janitors sorting out the trash. Have a
culture of classification=> catch up with developed countries
( German, Australia, France,…)

Slide 6: ĐIỂN
We run our project on the 6th floor. First off, we decorated the
trash bins to attract students' attention with labels of different
categories for them to sort out the trash. There are 3 types:
food, recyclable (for e.g: plastic, paper, etc.) and non recyclable
(like bottle caps, tissues, …)

Slide 7: ĐIỂN
Besides, we also upload our introduction and progress to our
page. The reason we created this page was to save our
progress and to help spread the message of protecting the
environment widely. You guys can take your phones out to scan
this QR code to enter our page.

Slide 8: ĐIỂN
After more than a month running the project, we’ve found out
that:
- For the very first few weeks, our 8th graders had a lot of
difficulties in classifying different types of trash, but they
did their best anyway.
- We realize that the old situations were switched back
again. Trash was all over the place, students no longer
cared whether their trash was thrown into the bins, etc.

individuals to deal with.( tham khaor)

● Slide 10: HIỂU

After about a week of working on the project, we had an interview
with the janitor. So, let's see what she said (chiếu vid bác lao công)
As you can see, she said she doesn't need to but we still want to do
this project to raise people's awareness and improve our learning
environment.
We also interviewed some students (chiếu vid hsinh)
*Sau khi chiếu xong*:
We DO believe that after doing anything in our life or other projects,
we should have something called LAM TIME which is “Look at myself
time” to see what we have done and what we should improve.
- From those interviews, we realized that we have detailed planning
and creative ideas, made a website to raise people's awareness; set
the recycle bins on the 6th floor.
- Besides that, I think we still need some improvement: place re
cycle bins on the 6th floor, post more meaningful articles and the
recycle bins need to be scientific and more suitable for students.

● Slide 13: HIỂU

- After this project, I realized a lot of things. It is true that some
environmental issues are too big for individuals to deal with
U can see, in each slides we have an icon
*chỉ vào icon
of people raising hands and holding the planet. It has a
wonderful meaning that: no matter where you are, no matter
how bold or how old you are, it’s never too late to change, and
even your small action can give a hand to this virtual project.
However,
- Our recommendation is that students should throw trash in the right
place, dividing daily... For teachers, it is necessary to not only teach
students more about this issue but also give them realistic
experiences, probably an improvement of our idea. More trash cans
need to be added in each floors and students need to be more active
in environmental issues.
