MARSHMALLOW Stem Challenge

ABOUT THIS RESOURCE:
In my fi rst grade classroom, we LOVE celebrating the 100th Day
of School! We spend most of the day completing 100th Day
Stations. My kids work in teams of two or three to complete 9
stations. One of thei r favorites is this Marshmall ow Stem
acti vity. I have each team count out 100 marshmall ows and
toothpicks. Thei r job is to build the tallest structure they can.
Then they measure in both inches and centi meters. They use
these recording pa ges to plan and draw thei r structures!

I have incl uded a few di fferent options so that you can choose
the one that works best for your classroom!
