Suggestions for Use

This packet is a great way for students to practice using the prefixes sub and super. I
assign one page each day (i.e. Activity A on Monday, Acitivity B on Tuesday, etc.), so the
students work with the words for a week. You could assign this as class work or
homework.

The activities are based on the text Bringing Words to Life.

Three versions of the rubric are included. Each have a place for students to reflect on
their work, for the teacher to reflect, and for both parties to leave comments. The first
one includes criteria I’ve used for grading as well as points, the second has no points so
that you can assign your own, and the third is blank if you’d like to set your own criteria
and point scale.
