been very busy at the parish office and want to keep you all up-to-date on all our
parish news and events. Wishing you a lovely weekend filled with God's many

·We will have a Baptism preparation class on Thurs. Sept. 16 at 6pm. Please call
the office to register.

·CWL will be having the first in-person General meeting on Monday September 13th
7pm in the Church Hall after a long absence.
Our guest Speaker is Lorraine Paruzzolo talking about “Embracing Trust”. All
parishioners are invited to attend.

·PREP Classes begin this Wednesday. Registration forms are at the church
entrance and online.

·RCIA classes begin September 21st . Please call the parish office to register.

Parish Education Committee Elections for 2021-2022

In accordance with the CISVA (Catholic Independent Schools for the Vancouver
Archdiocese) governance policy, Holy Trinity School is conducting elections for the
Parish Education Committee (PEC) for positions beginning October 2021. Elections
will take place after all Masses on the weekend of September 25 & 26, 2021.

Eligible for nomination are Holy Trinity Catholic parishioners who have reached the
age of twenty-one (21) and who are registered, participating members of the parish,
with the following exceptions:
● Teachers and principal of the school;
● Past employees of the school until three full calendar years have passed since the
termination of employment,
● Employees of the parish and/or school,
● Spouses, children, parents, brothers and sisters of persons covered as above.
● All other teachers/principals employed by C.I.S.V.A.

Nominations must be received by September 15, 2021

·Tickets for our San Lorenzo Ruiz Fiesta on Sat. October 2nd will be available after
mass. Cost $35. This year tickets will be limited to 150. The San Lorenzo novena
and mass in English will begin on Sun. Sept. 19th at 5:30pm and from Sept. 20 - 28
at 7pm.

·Our Sisters of La Salette invite you to the 175th celebration of the Feast of the
Apparition of Mother Mary at La Salette, at the 10am mass on September 19th
followed by refreshments.

·We are resuming adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in our chapel this Sunday
after the 10am mass, with a procession from the church to the adoration chapel.
We encourage adorers to remember social distancing, wearing a mask and if you
have any flu symptoms, please stay home. A maximum of 3 people are allowed in
the chapel at a time.

·Holy Trinity Parish will be providing food to the Archdiocesan Men’s Shelter this
Thursday, Sept. 16. We are in need of individually wrapped sandwiches, baked
goods & hand held fruit, soft granola bars and water. Kindly drop your donation off
in the Holy Trinity parking lot on Sept. 16 between 1- 2:20 pm. We are also looking
for 10 volunteers to cook 7 meals. If you can help please contact Kim at
kimth@shaw.ca. (Please refer to attachment for more information)

·Our 11:30am mass will resume on Sunday October 3rd.

Our First Friday masses will be at 8:15am and 7pm.

·The Upper Room is the largest ministry event of the year in the Archdiocese of
Vancouver. It will be held on Sat. Sept. 18th. Please register at
upperroomvancouver.com
