experience while being supervised by experienced educators. Since this is the student teacher’s
third exposure to a classroom setting, it is expected that they will take note of the classroom and
school amenities as well as the organizational structure of the institution. We will guide how
students act in the actual learning environment. We will also enhance their understanding of
workable methods to promote learning taking into account the various stages of growth and
development based on their observations of learners.

Student teacher’s will be introduced to the school environment, the school community, and the
learner's behavior in the various developmental periods during practice teaching. As they work and
observed the school's infrastructure, classrooms, facilities, teachers, parents, and students, it gives
them chances to advance their careers. This practice teaching also gives them opportunities to
improve their communication skills through discussions with their partner, cooperating teachers,
students, and parents. The interactions between instructors, students, parents, and other
stakeholders are part of this practice teaching.

DIFFERENT TYPES OF SANDWICHES” The student will read…

E. Discussion
“Can someone read the definition of cold Cold Sandwiches - A particular kind
sandwiches? Yes, ______. of sandwich, typically served cold or at
room temperature, its fillings are
readily available and spreadable.

Thank you, __________.

Cold sandwiches are a simple type of sandwich
wherein you can spread any type of fillings onto
any type of bread and then eat it right away.

whereas,
Hot Sandwiches - Simple hot sandwiches
include hot contents, which are typically
meats but can also occasionally be fish,
grilled veggies, or other hot foods.
“Yes, Ma’am.”
Did you get it, class?

Good!

Let’s now proceed to different types of

Cold Sandwiches.

1. Open-faced Sandwiches
- Open sandwiches make use of one kind
of bread with the filling on top. The slices
of white bread can be cut into squares,
triangles, or rounds.
Butter is spread lightly on top, and pieces
of cheese or meat fillings are arranged
and garnished attractively like that
make /use of biscuits, cookies, or toast
instead of using breads.

“Yes, Ma’am.”
Did you get it, class?

Good!

2. Regular Cold Sandwiches

- A plain sandwich is made up of two slices
of bread, preferably day-old bread,
toasted if desired, and on which butter
can be readily spread. Its crusts may or
may not be removed, depending upon
your preference. Butter, mayonnaise or a
prepared sandwich spread may be used as
lining to prevent the bread from
absorbing moisture from the filling.
Moreover, it ensures that the bread and
the filling will stick together.

“Ma’am that kind of sandwich is very

easy to do, I always do that at home.”

Yes, you are correct.

3. Pinwheel Sandwiches
- Pinwheels are made of bread cut
lengthwise, about 3/8 inch thick. Fresh
cream bread is preferable because they
are easy to roll and will not crack. Trim
crusts and flatten long slices with a
rolling pin. Spread bread with softened
butter or margarine and your choice of
any smooth filling, like creamed cheese,
marmalades, cheese pimiento, peanut
butter, jams, and jellies.
Smooth filling is ideal for pinwheel
sandwiches because they do not have
bulk and can be spread thinly. Roll up
bread like a jelly roll.
4. Tea Sandwiches
- Tea sandwiches are small fancy
sandwiches made from light, delicate
ingredients and bread that has been
trimmed of crusts. And may be made
ahead of time and frozen. They are often
cut into fancy shapes, squares, rectangles
and oblongs add to the variety. Fillings
and spreads can be the same as those for
canapés.

Do you have any questions?

Good! “None, Ma’am.”

5. Multi-decker Sandwiches
- Are made with more than two slices of
bread (or rolls split into more than two
pieces) and with several ingredients in the
filling. The club sandwich is a popular
multi-decker sandwich, made of three
slices of toast and filled with sliced
chicken, mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, and
bacon and cut into four triangles.
Class, are you familiar with the club sandwiches?

“Yes, Ma’am. We recently bought it in

the canteen”.
Ah! Good observation. Class, did you know that
a club sandwich is a popular multi-decker
sandwich?

6. Wrap/Rolled Sandwiches
- Wraps are sandwiches in which the
fillings are wrapped, like a Mexican
burrito, in a large flour tortilla of similar
flatbread. They may be served whole or
cut in half if large

Do you have a question about Cold Sandwiches?

What are the six types of cold sandwiches? “None, Ma’am.”

“Ma’am, Open-faced Sandwiches,

Wrap/Rolled Sandwiches and Regular
Cold Sandwiches.”
Very Good, What else?

“Teacher, Pinwheel Sandwiches, Tea

Sandwiches and Multi-decker
Sandwiches.”
Good Job, Grade 9!
Now let’s proceed to different types of Hot
Sandwiches.
1. Regular Hot Sandwiches
- Simple hot sandwiches consist of hot
fillings, usually meats but sometimes fish,
grilled vegetables, or other hot items,
between two slices of bread. They may
also contain items that are not hot, such
as a slice of tomato or raw onion on a
hamburger.

“Ma’am, I think hamburger is best

example of Regular Hot Sandwiches.”

Yes, it is.

2. Hot Open-Faced Sandwich

- Open-faced sandwiches are made by
placing buttered or unbuttered bread on
bread on a serving plate, covering it with
hot meat or other filling, and topping it
with a sauce, gravy, cheese, or other
topping. This type of sandwich is eaten
with a knife and fork.

Can you follow, Grade 9?

3. Grilled Sandwiches
- Grilled sandwiches, also called toasted
sandwiches, are simple sandwiches that
are buttered on the outside and browned
on the griddle, in a hot oven, or a Panini
grill.
Sandwiches containing cheese are
popular for grilling.
“Yes, Ma’am.”

4. Deep Fried Sandwiches

- Deep-fried sandwiches are made by
dipping sandwiches in beaten egg and
sometimes in bread crumbs, and then
deep-fry.

Class, have you eaten a corn dog?

Yes! You are a keen observer! But did you know,

that it is also an example of a Deep Fried
Sandwiches.

5. Filled Rolls, Focaccia or Pitta Bread “Yes, Ma’am.” It is very popular in the
- Flavored bread served with dips like

Do you understand class?

What are the five types of Hot Sandwiches?

Very good, what else?

“Yes, we understand Ma’am.”

Good Job, Class!

Since my cooperating school is nice, my experiences as a student teacher have been positive

students. It's quite difficult to control them, especially given how much of
themselves they're exposing to the world via the internet and even the wild
culture. I should actually have to start altering myself since my goal is to change them, which is a
very difficult aspect, and this makes me fully
human. You can't offer what you don't have, as the phrase goes. Therefore, it is quite difficult to
teach your students when you yourself don't have very good learning.

Although I'm sure I'll gain a lot from my studies, I believe that the best way to assess who you are

who is willing to change lives so they can be a great service to our society in 5 years.

We took a picture of grade 9 students with their designated
color of apron. This week also is the celebration of Teacher’s
Week 4 Day. I am very glad to celebrate this kind of event, I really felt
the love and joy of my students. Me and my co-student
teacher took a picture with the students and teachers.
Performance task of grade 9 students and they are going to
make a different types of appetizers per group. I am the one
Week 5 also who graded all their output. I checked also their long quiz
while they are cooking. I am happy because they are all
successful in their first performance task.
Discussion with my grade 9 students and in my free time I
always make a detailed lesson plan for the future lesson.
Week 6 There is some student that will be going to make an appetizer
because they are absent when the performance task held. I
am the one who watched and graded them.
I talked to the head teacher in MCHS-B to gave the date of my
Week 7 final demonstration which is in November 16, 2023. I also
have a graded recitation to all the grade 9 student about our
past lessons.
I am very busy this week because my final demonstration is
pretty near. After school I do the things I need in my
demonstration and lot of revision I need to do in my lesson
Week 8 plan. Some of my co-student teacher are finished to their final
demonstration and they are all successful. I am very grateful
because finally I would say, successful final demonstration
done. All of my hard work finally paid off.
All the teachers are buys because of the report card. I discuss
Week 9 about dessert that they are going to make next week for their
second performance task.
Performance Task Week, all the grade 9 are going to make a
dessert. We also award the students with Honors in my
Week 10 cooperating teacher’s advisory class. I started also to say
goodbye and thank you to all my students because I will miss
