This evidence talks about the occupation of a public accountant, what is its
definition, what is the salary of an accountant, in which an accountant can work,
what subjects he studies and what is the job of an accountant.

It is the practice or discipline based on accounting knowledge and that focuses on
the faithful knowledge of the company with a view to its operation and the best
possible decision-making.

An efficient public accountant ensures the reliability of the financial statements of
your organization, with high quality standards, and generates accounting and

Contrary to what is believed, graduates of the Bachelor of Public Accounting have
an extremely wide and varied field of work, such as:

-Entities of the financial system, such as banks, surety companies and insurance
companies.
-Financial, investment and brokerage firms, as auditor and developer of accounting
processes.
-Small, medium and large companies, in the accounting, financial and auditing
areas.
-National and international institutions, holding directive and managerial positions.
-Consulting and auditing companies, in the areas of tax administration, tax
procedure and accounting.
-Accounting offices.
-Own company and as an independent consultant.

How many accounting students are there in Mexico?

According to an analysis of the Compare Carreras study, by IMCO (2019 edition), it
is estimated that in Mexico there are about 400 thousand accounting students. It is
among the 5 majors with the most students ... which might not seem very
attractive, but it is also among the majors with the lowest percentage of informality
and unemployment. Companies are still looking for accountants!
Conclusion: accounting has an extensive branch of subjects in the course of the career,
that is why it has a lot of work field, and although it is one of the most demanded careers
by students, the work is not finished for new graduates, as far as I personally like my
career.
