In the era of Internet technology, colleges and universities mainly carry out teaching

based on computer multimedia network technology, so there has been a qualitative


change from traditional education and teaching in education management mode,
method and content. First of all, it should be affirmed that this education and teaching
mode has greatly improved the level and quality of education, promoted the in-depth
development of education reform, but Internet technology has also produced some
negative effects. This paper probes into some negative effects of Internet technology
on the educational management of colleges and universities, and puts forward some
preliminary improvement measures for the existing problems.Key words: Internet

universities generally adopt a closed residential education and teaching management
model. Residential learning and living are also aimed at enabling college students to

education and teaching are basically limited to 24/7 hours, and many educational and
even extracurricular activities in universities are arranged differently from those in
primary and secondary schools. The curriculum has autonomy and selectivity, so it is
scattered and arranged in different time and teaching spaces. In addition to receiving
theoretical experimental skills and exam oriented education, students on campus will
also participate in more club activities and student union activities. Internet
technology, mobile communication technology and big data technology in the
information age provide important tools, platforms and media for enriching college
students' knowledge and activating campus culture. They expand the content of
various disciplines related to education and teaching, enable college students to
experience more colorful campus and urban life, and provide platform space support
for college students to practice in society and exercise their abilities. This is in line
with the purpose of college education and teaching reform, in which Internet
technology has played a positive and positive role [1-2]. Internet technology has
promoted the reform of traditional education and teaching mode in colleges and
universities. In the traditional education model, teachers use chalkboards and chalk as
the main teaching tools, relying on textbooks as the main teaching materials and
content. The education process is relatively rigid and cannot vividly conduct

aided teaching design for teaching reform, which makes education and teaching more
intuitive, improves the efficiency of teaching topics, and stimulates the subjective
initiative of students in learning [3-4]. In the process of teaching management, the
integrated network monitoring platform based on Internet technology can participate
in and strengthen the supervision and management of the teaching process. Internet
technology has broadened the space of college education and teaching in terms of
both extension and connotation. Under the original education mode, colleges and
universities mainly carry out education and teaching activities in classrooms,
laboratories and libraries. The space for teaching and learning is relatively traditional,
but thanks to the great achievements of Internet technology, they can now transfer
various external information resources through Internet technology and platforms. For
example, the teaching courseware of famous teachers in famous colleges and
universities can be directly displayed to local students through the Internet platform,
effectively expanding the education and teaching space of colleges and universities,
making the education and teaching management of colleges and universities gradually
present an open mode. Internet technology provides technical support for diversified
and personalized school running, greatly enriches education and teaching methods,
and makes colleges and universities get rid of the monotonous and boring mode of
traditional education and teaching in the past. Especially during the epidemic

accurate education, teaching, scientific research, technology and digital information of
all walks of life can be obtained through Internet technology; It can also filter
information from a certain period or region, achieve refined processing of information
resources, and provide an effective public service platform and technical support for
education and teaching, scientific research exchange, and technological development
for university teachers and students. The Internet is conducive to eliminating the blind
spots in college education and teaching management. The traditional education
management system, due to its inherent limitations, will lead to the failure to
implement the rules and regulations of college education management. This is usually
related to the separation of time and space between managers and students. Internet
technology has increased the network interaction channels and improved the real-time
visibility in remote time and space. With the continuous development of Internet
technology, there are many ways and means to improve the level of education and
teaching in the application of network technology. As long as the education and
teaching units in colleges and universities use them properly, the existing problems
can be or are expected to be solved, so that the level of education and teaching
management can be improved. In addition, Internet technology has effectively
realized an open and transparent education and teaching management model. Using
Internet technology, colleges and universities adopt the working mode of networking,

Disadvantageous factors of Internet technology in college education and teaching

Various online games not only enrich the extracurricular life of college students, but
also easily tempt them to indulge in games, making it difficult for them to extricate
themselves from addiction. It is common for college students to be addicted to online
games, which can affect their academic performance. A very small number of students
with weak self-control may even be unable to complete their studies normally due to
being addicted to online games. If schools and parents do not discipline and intervene
such students in a timely manner, it will be detrimental to their physical and mental
health, and in serious cases, it may even lead to students being unable to complete
their studies normally; With the rapid development of Internet technology, all kinds of
advertising junk software, viruses and even hacker attacks are also promoted, spread
and invaded through the network. Once the school's education and teaching
management system is infected by the self popping advertisements, junk software and
viruses on the network, it will lead to the education and teaching management
software, platforms and systems can not work normally, and the computer system of
the teaching system will be harassed or even paralyzed, which will have a negative
impact on the development of normal education and teaching work. Various external
network information of varying quality has an impact on the psychology of students.
The internet is a hodgepodge, where various negative values (such as the so-called

violence are spread through the internet, which can easily directly or indirectly affect
the psychological health of adolescent students, leading to incorrect values and

increasing discussion and feedback and other measures can break through the
limitations of online space-time interaction, create a realistic classroom atmosphere

ConclusionIn the information age with the rapid development of Internet technology,
colleges and universities should make full use of the convenience brought by Internet
technology to education and teaching management, cultivate high-quality talents for
colleges and universities, and effectively carry out networked information work; At

guide and educate students to screen network information, and ensure that Internet
