Diploma Courses ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS

Gemology Applicants should have a minimum of:
Mining Geology
Five (5) O'level subjects at grade C or
Mine Surveying
better including the following; English
Mining Engineering Language; Mathematics and any One
Mining Engineering Science subject (Physics, Chemistry, or
(Shaft Technician) Physical/Integrated/Core/Combined
Metallurgical Assaying Science).
Metallurgical Engineering
A 'level is an added advantage.
Mine Ventilation and Environmental
Engineering
Note: Maximum of two sittings.
Mine Safety, Health, Environment
and Quality Management (MSHEQ)

Applications are invited from individuals who wish to undertake training in Diploma
programmes in any of the courses starting in January, 2025.
HOW TO APPLY
An application form is available at the school and can also be downloaded from our
website www.zsm.ac.zw. An application processing fee of US$20.00 or equivalent is
payable. Completed applications are to be sent to Zimbabwe School of Mines,
Coghlan Avenue Extension, Killarney, P.O. Box 2745 Bulawayo, or scanned and sent to
registry@zsm.co.zw on or before 30 August 2024
