    Applications are invited from individuals who are working in the mines and wish
    to undertake training in a Diploma programme in any of the courses below
    starting in January 2025

    DIPLOMA COURSES ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS

    Mining Engineering Applicants should have:


    Mining Geology A minimum of five O'level subjects with a
    grade C or better in Mathematics,
    Mine Surveying English Language and a Science subject.
    Metallurgical Engineering Three years of relevant working experience.
    Metallurgical Assaying
    NEC registration (Blue Card).
    Mine Ventilation &
    Environmental Engineering Recommendation letter from employer.
    Mine, Safety, Health, Environment FBL or MBL for Diploma in Mining applicants.
    and Quality Management

    BLENDED LEARNING: Lessons are mainly conducted online with face to face
    lectures (tuition, practicals, presentations, tests, assignments and examinations)
    being done every month-end as per semester calender.

    Application form is available at the school and can be downloaded from our
    website www.zsm.ac.zw. An application processing fee of US$30.00 is payable.
    Completed applications to be sent to Zimbabwe School of Mines, Coghlan
    Avenue Extension, Killarney or sent via post to P.O. Box 2745 Bulawayo or
    scanned and sent on email to registry@zsm.co.zw by 30 November 2024
