Hello everyone.
My name is Sara Rad, and I am a fashion designer and stylist.
I am 32 years old. I am originally from Iran, but I live in Turkey.
I studied English Literature at university, but I decided to continue my career in fashion
world.
I live in Istanbul now.
I have worked in different countries, and I have always enjoyed interacting with different
people from other cultures.
I created my label as SaraMax a few years ago and I have designed a few collections so far.
However, I like more to be known as a stylist not a designer.
I come from an average family, but I have always wanted to make a difference in my
community and for the people around me.
In future, I would like to reach my targets in fashion world. I will continue establishing my
label and my activities as a stylist here in Turkey. I would also like to reach the markets in
Europe and other countries in the world.

Good morning. I am George Harrison.
I am 34 years old
I am from the United States, and I live in Manhattan, New York.
I am a fashion designer and I work as the creative director at Tiffany & Co
I graduated from Parsons School for Design in New York in 2009.
I started my career as an intern designer at DKNY in 2010.
I worked as an intern for 2 years at DKNY and then I moved to Carolina Herrera and worked
there for 5 years as a designer.
In 2015 I received a job offer from Tiffany & Co and very quickly I was promoted to creative
director position in 2019.
I have been working at Tiffany for 5 years and I really love my job.
My passion is to promote my creative ideas at Tiffany and make a difference which lasts
forever.
I am a professional team leader, and I can handle difficult situations very well. I can work
under pressure and reaching the targets is the most important thing in my job.

Read the following passage about a fashion designer and try to find the key facts.
Who is John Galliano?
John Charles Galliano is a British fashion designer
who is currently the creative director of Paris-based
fashion house Maison Margiela. A much famous
name in the world of fashion, he has been the head
designer of French fashion companies Givenchy
and Christian Dior at different points in his career.
Born in Gibraltar, he moved to England with his
family when very young. Shy and quiet, he first
faced problems in fitting in with children in the new
country though he eventually adjusted well. Having
developed an early interest in the arts, he went on
to study at Saint Martin's School of Art from where

he received a degree in Fashion Design. Highly
creative and talented, he got his first taste of
success soon after his graduation and it was not
long before he opened his own fashion line.
However, he lacked the skill required to
successfully manage his business and was soon
bankrupt. Determined to rebuild his career, he
moved to Paris in search of financial backing which
he finally found. His career reached new heights
when he was appointed as the designer of
Givenchy and then at Dior. His career suffered a
huge setback due to his anti-Semitic comments in
2011 though he eventually managed to bounce
back.
