CD/FILM PROVIDED: CE-MRI PELVIS DATED 26.02.

CLINICAL QUERY: C/O epigastric discomfort.
IMAGING FEATURES:
There is ill-defined T1 hypointense, T2/ STIR hyperintense thickening measuring
approx. 41 x 22 x 24 mm seen involving left lip of cervix/ left upper vagina. There
is loss of T2 hypointense stromal rim with infiltration of parametrium and
extension into left distal ureter causing upstream hydrourteronephrosis with renal
parenchymal thinning (On CT correlation). Left ovary and fallopian tube is seen
adhered to this thickening.
No significant lymphadenopathy in pelvis or para-aortic chain
No e/o involvement of rectum.
No e/o any peritoneal nodules/ omental thickening.
IMPRESSION:-
Features show thickening of cervix with extension to left fornix of vagina and left
parametrium with left distal ureter involvement causing upstream
hydrourteronephrosis. Possibility include malignant/inflammatory thickening from
cervix/ upper vagina needs consideration. Adv:
Colposcopy and HPE correlation.
