Strengths

 Students enjoy spend time out of their chairs.


 TPR activities are simples and don’t require special preparation by the teachers
 TPR require no aptitude and works well with classes of mixed- ability students
 It is good for students who need to be always active in class
 Effective for beginner students
 Lower anxiety in children
 This method is in no way dangerous for children
 The student isn’t required to use speech and they become more confident with the
vocabulary used

Weaknesses

 This method only provides one way to express the action typically what the teacher
executes
 This method can be a challenge for shy students
 It can be too repetitive and borrin
 It can take a long time to teach a new concept just using TPR
 TPR can be difficult to manage in large classes with many students it can be a challenge
for the teacher
