FIVE Ways Teachers are using to make their classes more fun & enjoyable by students

1. Creation of interest in Subject.
According to my subject (Sanskrit) students have a little knowledge. So many Sanskrit words, idioms and shlokas used in all languages especially in Telugu. Even though they don’t know that those are Sanskrit, they deliver them. We have to motivate them and create interest by those words and shlokas etc. 2. Teaching the lesson There is a proverb. A Good Teacher teaches, a better Teacher explains and a best Teacher inspires. To create inspiration, we should know the entire lesson. We should read and follow the complete original lesson. (Because they give only a small part from the lesson) Then only we have command and explain the lesson fruitful. If necessary we can convey them the whole summary of the lesson, shlokas and upakhyanas etc. The Teacher should have some qualities. He / She should be a role model Generally, students observe and try to imitate their Teachers. They observe the dress, hair style, discipline, punctuality, humbleness, behaviour, response to co staff, manner to the students outside the class room etc. Positive manner is the first and best qualification of a Teacher. 3. Discipline It means we should not order the students to keep quiet, don’t move hands etc. The student has a right to ask doubts for clarification. We shouldn’t hurt the student in the name of discipline. We have to teach self-discipline. If our lesson is interesting there is no need of telling them about discipline. 4. Difficulty in understanding the lesson All are not having same IQ. We should have patience to explain the lesson or the summary twice or thrice. If needed the next day also. We can get up one or two clever students to convey some main points on that particular lesson. Interaction and intimacy with students are more important. As the Teacher is a loco parent, the student is able to express doubts not only in the subject but also in other aspects. If we know the psychology of students it is very easy for us in teaching the lesson in a joyful way. 5. Similar changes in students Last year I had an experience with 1 st year Bipc student. She was very dull. Unable to read and write even slip tests also. One day I told her, not to answer the present day question, but answer the previous day question today itself. After ten days she deliberately told in the class that she can answer both previous and Present questions. She succeeded in that task. Nothing is impossible but YOAJAKAH TATHRA DURLABHAH. This is my experience in this beloved profession.
