• Lateness Penalty: For each day or part day up to five days after the published
deadline, coursework relating to modules submitted late will have the numeric grade
reduced by 10 grade points until or unless the numeric grade reaches the minimum pass
mark (UG 40/PG 50). Where the numeric grade awarded for the assessment is less
than the minimum pass mark no lateness penalty will be applied. If the coursework is
submitted more than 5 days after the published deadline, it will not be marked and a
grade of zero will be awarded. Please note: Referred coursework submitted after the
published deadline will be awarded a grade of zero (0).”

your reason(s) for needing an extension.
You are going to publish a blog about this topic: Discuss how financial globalisation has
influenced environmental policies and practices worldwide. Analyse the role of global
governance in balancing economic growth and environmental sustainability.
Submit one electronic copy via canvas using PDF or Microsoft Word. Students are required to
include their student ID in the first page.

Emphasise on financial globalisation by explaining and justifying global linkages created through
cross – border financial flows.
• You are going the design the blog, prepare this blog as same as you were publishing it in
one of the media.
• Refer to the assessment guidelines for mark allocations. This is available in the module
guide and at the end of this assignment. One of the most common causes of students
failing to gain marks is failing to address all the requirements of an assignment.
• Do not exceed the word count of 1200 (+/- 10%) given above. Please note that if work
exceeds the +10% tolerance, we will stop marking at that point.
• Make sure that you justify and well explain your arguments.
• Use appropriate theories and tools to produce an in-depth argument.
• Use a variety of credible sources to support your argument (textbooks, journal articles,
credible newspapers, statistical and industry data from credible sources). Minimum 12
sources.
• Students are asked to allow enough time for uploading their work before the deadline.
• Any late submission would have standard penalty of 10 points deducted for each day of
late submission for up to 5 days, then a mark of 0 will be awarded.
