The school campus is clean and well- maintained, the school staffs are nice and friendly.

The most abundant color you

can see in the campus is green. The school environment is good for the students, they have space for the learners just
like benches, greeny gardens, gulayan and sheds. The facilities are in good condition, they have computer labs and
library. In the classroom the students are not over populated, so they have enough space for students especially wheb
doing school works or activity.

Week 1

September 18, the first of deployment in Ramon Torres Taloc National High School. It was a mixed emotion of excitement
and at the same time nervous because you will put into the real world as future educator. I was assigned in Grade 9-
Peace under the supervision of Ms. Ritchel Dela Fuente. The students are so nice that they give us the warm welcome
and treated us just like their teacher.

Week 2

The class is composed of Grade 9 students with different characteristics. From what I have observed, they are active
students. During the class discussion, they share their ideas and they are competitive students. Their age ranges from 14
to 16 years old. The class has 16 boys and 14 girls in total of 30 students. There are also supporting materials that the
teacher used in her discussion, the students are attentively listening to their teacher.

Week 3

The school held the first PTA meeting in the first quarter. The teacher presents their agenda and their upcoming activities
in the school. They also elected the officers of parents that serves as leader when there are activities in the school and
also if there are problems with their child. The teacher presents the classroom rules and they plan for the project of their
students.

Week 4

The students has few simple rules to be followed just like maintaining their classroom clean, listening and participating in
the class discussion , be on time, and do their part in the classroom. There are posters posted on the walls that contains
information and announcement. The teacher treated them equally, there is no competition in the class. They help each
other and respect each other. The class has a good atmosphere because, students have a good relationship with their
classmates and they help each other, respect one another, there is no discrimination. There is unity in the class.

This was a normal day of the teacher discusses her lesson, and giving activities of the students. The teacher always
makes sure that her students really understand her lesson by asking them question or by oral recitation. The teacher also
monitors the students, she roams around the classroom and check the works of the students. If the students didn’t
understand or catch the lesson, the teacher will assist and give them another activity.

Week 5

The school having the first quarter examination. Some of the students are obviously confident to take the exam and
there are some are not taking it seriously. The students are all behave while taking the exam. The teacher just sits in the
front and monitoring them. The setting arrangement of the students are alphabetically and has a gap both side of the
student, so that they can cheat with their classmate.

Week 6

The students are actively participating in the class discussion and they always give their best in every activity. You will
also see their efforts in doing activities because they are creatively thinking what they do. The student’s behavior shows
that they still need the guidance of the teacher and parents, they are still young and there’s so many things to be
discover since they are still in the learning process.

Week 7

The students are doing reporting, role playing and group activities. The teacher let her students to discover problems by
themselves by sharing ideas with their classmates and letting them discuss as a group and to unite the students. This
kind of activity is beneficial to students to become more sociable and boost their confidence, also it will lead them to
have a good relationship with their classmates.

Week 8

The teacher is having her demonstration with the principal. The principal monitors the performance of the teachers in
Ramon Torres Taloc National High School, observing them and give critique to their performance. My resource teacher is
confidently present her lesson and delivery the lesson very well. She prepared everything before she stared. The
students are very active as well answering the activities given to them. You can see in the face of the principal that she is
satisfied to the performance of my resource teacher.

Week 9

My resource teacher used variety of classroom strategies such as guided directions, cooperative learning and giving
feedbacks. And for me it is effective because I can see in the class that the students are actively participating in the class
discussion. The teacher is also creative in her visual aids, it can caught the attention of the students together with the
modulated voice of the teacher that can be hear even at the back.

Week 10

The teacher organizes the things she needed in the class before to start her discussion. She also implements classrooms
routines to organize the flow of the discussion. The class started by greeting each other and by prayer. The teacher also
gives an activity to be a motivation and to energize the students.

The Ramon Torres Taloc National High School celebrates Family fun day, the students and parents are required to attend
of the said event. There are so many prizes and activities for the family and students. This event becomes the bonding
time of the family. You can see in their faces that they have enjoyed the activity.

Week 12

One the great experienced for me, is that I have an opportunity to take the class and discuss the topic that my resource
teacher has given me. It was an amazing feeling you can feel, once you know that the students can really understand
your lesson, they are very participative in the class discussion and you can see in their response that they are learning.

My name is Nicholle M. Domingo and my portfolio is a representation of all that I’ve learned during my intern ship in
Ramon Torres Taloc National High. This portfolio contains my learning experiences as an intern and my documentations.
Through Field Study, I was able to have my first off campus field observation. The very main point for the observation is
to have a first-hand contact with the learners as well as to conduct an observation on the physical aspects of the school
such as the different facilities and classrooms. It is also the very first time for me to have an actual classroom
observation. It was a great experience and I have learned so many things.
