Lesson 1: WHEN I WAS BORN

1 Read the text. Are these sentences true or false?

Hello. My name’s Cooper Mitchell. I was born on July 22, 2013, at 4:25 a.m. I was
born in the General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. The nurses were very nice.
Dad was with Mom, but it wasn’t easy for her because I was late! In my first
hour, I was very hungry… and noisy! My first visitors were Grandma and Grandpa.
They were very happy to see me.

Over in the UK, Prince George was also born on July 22, 2013, but he was born in
the afternoon. His Mom and Dad are Kate Middleton and Prince William. George
was born in a hospital in London, England. A lot of journalists and photographers
were there. But my family wasn’t interested in Prince George. They were
interested in me – Mom and Dad’s little prince!
