perfumes, and offer the prayer ‫ﻋ ﺪ ادا ﮐﺮ‬
Breaking of the fast, before the ‘Id al- ‫ﻧﻤﺎز ﻋ ﺪ ﭘﮩ دن آﻏﺎز ﻣ‬
Fitr Prayer. ‫اﻓﻄﺎر ﮐﺮ‬

AAMAL OF EID UL FITR DAY ‫ﭘﮩ ﺷﻮال ﺎ دن‬

: ‫ﭼﻨﺪ ا ﮏ اﻋﻤﺎل ﮨ‬ ‫اور اس ﻣ‬ ‫ﯾﮧ ﻋ ﺪاﻟﻔﻄﺮ ﺎ دن‬
The devotional acts on the ‘Id al-Fitr Day, the first of
Shawwal, are as follows:

Say Takbir ‫﴾ ﺗﮑﺒ ﮟ ﭘﮍ‬۱﴿

‫اﻋﻤﺎل‬ ‫ﻌﺪ وە ﺗﮑﺒ ﮟ ﭘﮍ ﺟﻮ ﺷﺐ ﻋ ﺪ‬ ‫ﻧﻤﺎز ﻓﺠﺮ ﻌﺪ اور ﻧﻤﺎز ﻋ ﺪ‬
‫ﻣ ذﮐﺮ ﻮﭼ ﮨ‬
It is recommended to say the supplicatory prayer that has been
mentioned within the acts of the ‘Id al-Fitr Night to be said after
the obligatory prayers and that begins with (AllahuakbarAllahu
akbar) after the Fajr Prayer and after the ‘Id al-Fitr Prayer.
ُ َ ‫إﻟﮧ إ ﱠ ا ُ َوا ُ ٲ‬

‫ا ٲ ا ٲ‬
‫ﺧﺪا ﺑﺰرﮔ‬ ‫ﺳﻮا ﮐﻮ ﻣﻌﺒﻮد ﻧﮩ‬ ‫ﷲ‬ ‫ﺧﺪا ﺑﺰرﮔ‬ ‫ﺧﺪا ﺑﺰرﮔ‬
Allah is Great. Allah is Great. There is no god save Allah.
And Allah is Great.

‫ا ُ ٲ َ ُ َو ِ ِ اﻟ َﺤ ْﻤﺪ‬
‫اور ﺧﺪا ﮐ ﻠ ﺣﻤﺪ‬ ‫ﺧﺪا ﺑﺰرﮔ‬
Allah is Great. All praise be to Allah.

، ‫اﻟ َﺤ ْﻤﺪ ِ ِ ﻋ َﻣﺎ ﮬﺪاﻧﺎ‬
‫ﮨﺪا ﺖ دی‬ ‫ﺧﺪا ﮐ ﻠ اس ﭘﺮ ﮐﮧ ﻤ‬ ‫ﺣﻤﺪ‬
All praise be to Allah for He has shown us the Right Path.

‫َوﻟﮧ اﻟﺸﮑ ُﺮ ﻋ َﻣﺎ ٲ ْوﻻﻧﺎ‬
‫ﺨﺸﺎ۔‬ ‫ﻤ‬ ‫اس ﭘﺮ ﺟﻮ ﮐﭽﮫ اس‬ ‫اور اس ﺎ ﺷﮑﺮ‬
All thanks be to Him for that which He has conferred upon us.

Say after the Fajr|EID Prayer ‫﴾ ﻧﻤﺎز ﻓﺠﺮ |ﻋ ﺪ ﻌﺪ ﭘﮍ‬۲﴿

‫ﻌﺪ ﭘﮍ اور ﺷﯿﺦ ﺎ‬ ‫ﻧﻤﺎز ﻓﺠﺮ‬ ‫ﮐﮧ ا‬ ‫وە دﻋﺎ ﭘﮍ ﮐﮧ ﺳ ﺪ روا ﺖ‬
: ‫ ﮐﮧ ا ﻧﻤﺎز ﻋ ﺪ ﻌﺪ ﭘﮍ‬، ‫ﻓﺮﻣﺎن‬
It is recommended to say, after the Fajr Prayer, the
supplicatory prayer, which begins with the following statement:

‫اﻟﺦ‬.... ِ ‫ِ ُﻤ َﺤ ﱠﻤ ٍﺪ ا َﻣﺎ‬ ْ ‫اﻟﻠ ُﮭ ﱠﻢ ِا ﱢ َﺗ َﻮ ﱠﺟ ْﮭ ُﺖ ِاﻟ‬

‫ﺣﻀﻮر آ ﺎ ﻮں‬ ‫ﺗ‬ ‫وﺳﯿ‬ ‫ت ﷴﷺ‬ ‫اﭘ ر ﺣ‬ ‫اے ﻣﻌﺒﻮد ﻣ‬

This supplicatory prayer has been mentioned by Sayyid Ibn

Tawus. However, Shaykh al-Tusi has mentioned that this
prayer is said after the ‘Id al-Fitr Prayer (Salat al-’Id).

to defray Zakat al-Fitrah ‫﴾ زﺎت ﻓﻄﺮە ادا ﮐﺮ‬۳﴿

‫ﺮ ﭼﮭﻮ ﺑﮍ ﻓﺮد ﻃﺮف زﺎت ﻓﻄﺮە ادا ﮐﺮ ﮐﮧ‬ ‫ﻧﻤﺎز ﻋ ﺪ ﻗ ﻞ ﮔﮭﺮ‬
‫ﭼﮭﭩﺎﻧﮏ ﺟ ﺲ ﺎ اس ﻗ ﻤﺖ ﺑﺘﺎ‬۳ ۱ ۲ ‫ﺟﺲ ﻣﻘﺪار ﮐﺲ ا ﮏ ﺻﺎع ﻌ‬
‫ اس ﺗﻔﺼ ﻞ ﻟ ﮐﺘﺐ ﻓﻘﮧ ﻃﺮف رﺟ ع ﮐﺮﻧﺎ ﭼﺎ ﯿ ۔‬، ‫ﮔ‬
Third: It is obligatory to defray Zakat al-Fitrah as a single sa’ (a
measure) for each person before the time of the ‘Id al-Fitr
Prayer with details shown in books of Muslim jurisprudence.
‫واﺿﺢ ر ﮐﮧ زﺎت ﻓﻄﺮە واﺟﺐ ﻣﺆﮐﺪ ﺟﻮ ﻣﺎە ﻣ ﺎرک روزوں ﻗﺒﻮﻟ ﺖ اور‬
‫ﺳﺎل آﺋﻨﺪە ﺗﮏ ﺣﻔﻆ واﻣﺎن ﺎ ﺳ ﺐ ۔ ﺧﺪا ﺳﻮرە اﻋ ٰ ﻣ زﺎت ﺎ ذﮐﺮ ﻧﻤﺎز‬
: ‫ﭘﮩ ﮐ ﺎ‬
It is worth mentioning that Zakat al-Fitrah is one of the
confirmed obligations, since the acceptance of one’s fasting is
dependent upon the defrayment of this alms. It is also security
against death up to the next year.
َ َ َ َ ْ َْ
‫ﻗﺪ اﻓﻠﺢ َﻣ ْﻦ ﺗ َﺰ َوذ ﺮ ْاﺳ َﻢ َ ﱢر ِﮧ ﻓ َﺼ‬
ٰ ‫ز‬
‫ﮐﻮ دی اور اﭘ ﭘﺮورد ﺎر ﮐﻮ ﺎد ﮐ ﺎ ﭘﮭﺮ ﻧﻤﺎز ﭘﮍ ۔‬ ‫ﺎﻣ ﺎب ﺆا وە ﺟﺲ‬
“He indeed shall be successful who pays Zakat, magnifies
the name of his Lord, and prays. 87/14-15”
: ‫وری‬ ‫ﭘﮩ ادا ﮐﺮﻧﺎ‬ ‫ﮐﮧ زﺎت ﻓﻄﺮە ﺎ ﻧﻤﺎز ﻋ ﺪ‬ ‫ﻇﺎ ﺮ‬ ‫اس‬
In the above verses of the Holy Qur’an, Almighty Allah has
mentioned Zakat before the prayers:

bathe oneself ‫﴾ ﻏﺴﻞ ﮐﺮ‬۴﴿

‫ﻏﺴﻞ ﮐ ﺎ ﺟﺎ ۔ اس ﺎ وﻗﺖ ﻃﻠ ع ﻓﺠﺮ‬ ‫ﮐﮧ ﻧﮩﺮ ﻣ‬ ‫ﻏﺴﻞ ﮐﺮ اور ﺑﮩ‬
‫ﻗ ﻞ ﺗﮏ ۔‬ ‫ﻧﻤﺎز ﻋ ﺪ ﭘﮍﮬ‬
It is recommended to bathe oneself on this day. It is more
preferable to bathe oneself in a river, if possible. In the word
of Shaykh al-Tusi, the time of bathing is the period between
dawn and the ‘Id al-Fitr Prayer.
‫ ﻏﺴﻞ ﮐﺮ‬، ‫ﻧﯿ ﮐﺮﻧﺎ ز ﺎدە ﻣﻨﺎﺳﺐ‬ ‫ﺷﯿﺦ ﻓﺮﻣﺎ ﮨ ﮐﮧ ﯾﮧ ﻏﺴﻞ ﭼﮭﺖ‬
: ‫وﻗﺖ ﯾﮧ ﮐﮩ‬
According to a Hadith, when you want to bathe yourself (in a
river), try to be under shadow or under a wall. When you
intend to begin the bathing, you may say the following:
َ َ
‫اﻟﻠ ُﮭ ﱠﻢ ِا ْ َﻤﺎﻧﺎ ِ ﮏ َوﺗ ْﺼ ِﺪ ْ ﻘﺎ ِ ِﮑﺘﺎ ِ ﮏ‬
‫ﺗﺼﺪﯾﻖ ﮐﺮﺗﺎ ﻮں‬ ‫اے ﻣﻌﺒﻮد ﺗﺠﮫ ﭘﺮ ا ﻤﺎن رﮐﮭﺘﺎ ﻮں اور ﺗ ی ﮐﺘﺎب‬
O Allah, believing in Thee, fully aware of Thy Book,

‫ُﻣ َﺤ ﱠﻤ ٍﺪ‬ ‫ﺎع ُﺳ ﱠﻨﺔ َﻧ ﱢ‬

َ َ‫َ ﱢ‬
‫و ِاﺗ‬
ِ ِ
‫ﺳ ﺖ ﺎ ﭘ و ﺎر ﻮں‬ (‫ت ﷴ‬ ‫ﻧ )ﺣ‬ ‫اور ﺗ‬
following the way of life of Thy Prophet
ٰ َ
‫َﺻ ٰ ﷲ ﻋﻠ ْﯿ ِﮧ َو ِآﻟﮧ‬
ؑ ؐ
‫آل ﭘﺮ‬ ‫رﺣﻤﺖ ﻮ ﻣﺤﻤﺪ ﭘﺮ اور اﻧ‬ ‫ﷲ‬
Muhammad, Allah's blessings be on him and on his children.
: ‫ﻌﺪ ﮐﮩ‬ ‫اور ﻏﺴﻞ‬ ‫وع ﮐﺮ‬ ‫ﺴﻢ ﷲ ﭘﮍھ ﮐﺮ ﻏﺴﻞ‬
Then recite Bismillaah… and start making Ghusl, after
finishing ghusl, recite this
َ ُ ُ ً ‫ُ ﱠ ْ ُ ﱠ‬
‫اﺟ َﻌﻠﮧ ﮐﻔ َﺎر ِﻟﺬﻧ ْﻮ ِ ْ َوﻃ ﱢﮭﺮ ِد ْ ِﯾ‬ ‫اﻟﻠﮭﻢ‬
‫ﻓﺮﻣﺎ‬ ‫دﯾﻦ ﮐﻮ ﺎ‬ ‫ﮔﻨﺎ ﻮں ﺎ ﮐﻔﺎرە ﺑﻨﺎ اور ﻣ‬ ‫اے ﻣﻌﺒﻮد اس ﻏﺴﻞ ﮐﻮ ﻣ‬
O Allah let me make amends and compensate for my wrong
doings, (so that) my religion becomes pur
‫ُ ﱠ ْ َ ْ َﱢ ﱠ‬
َ َ ‫اﻟﺪ‬
‫ﺲ‬ ‫اﻟﻠﮭﻢ ِاذﮬﺐ ﻋ‬
‫ﻧﺎ ﺎ ﮐﻮ دور ﮐﺮد‬ ‫اے ﻣﻌﺒﻮد ﻣﺠﮫ‬
and O Allah remove the dirt from me.

‫اور ﻣﻘﺎم ﭘﺮ ﻮ ﺗﻮ‬ ‫ﺳﻮا ﮐ‬ ‫ﻋﻤﺪە ﻟ ﺎس ﭘﮩ اور ﺧﻮﺷﺒﻮ ﻟ ﺎ ۔ ﻣﮑﮧ ﻣﮑﺮﻣﮧ‬
‫ﻧﻤﺎز ﻋ ﺪ ﺻﺤﺮا ﻣ ﮐﮭ آﺳﻤﺎن ﺗ ادا ﮐﺮ ۔‬
It is recommended to put on the best clothes, apply
perfumes, and offer the prayer in an open place, other than
Holy Makkah.
breaking the fast, before the
‘Id al-Fitr Prayer
‫ﭘﮩ اﻓﻄﺎر ﮐﺮ‬ ‫﴾ ﻧﻤﺎز ﻋ ﺪ‬۶﴿
‫ﮐﮧ ﮐﮭﺠﻮر ﺎ ﻣﭩﮭﺎ‬ ‫ﻧﻤﺎز ﻋ ﺪ ﭘﮩ دن آﻏﺎز ﻣ اﻓﻄﺎر ﮐﺮ اور ﺑﮩ‬
‫ﺧﺎ ﺷﻔﺎ ﮐﮭﺎ ﺗﻮ‬ ‫ ﺷﯿﺦ ﻣﻔ ﺪ)رح( ﻓﺮﻣﺎ ﮨ ﮐﮧ اﻓﻄﺎر ﻣ ﺗﮭﻮڑی‬،‫ﻮ‬
‫۔‬ ‫وە ﺮ ﺑ ﻤﺎری ﺷﻔﺎ ﺎ ﻣﻮﺟﺐ ﺑ‬
It is recommended to eat something, as a breaking of the
fast, before the ‘Id al-Fitr Prayer. It is preferable to break
the fast with some dates or a piece of candy. Shaykh al-
Mufid has mentioned that it is advisable to swallow a piece
of the soil of Imam al-Husayn’s tomb, for it is remedy for all
illnesses.

Leaving house & say these

DUA
‫ﭘﮍ‬ ‫ﯾﮧ دﻋﺎﺋ‬ ‫ﻧ‬ ‫﴾ ﮔﮭﺮ‬۷﴿
‫اور وە‬ ‫ﻧ‬ ‫ﻌﺪ ﮔﮭﺮ‬ ‫ﺟﺐ ﻧﻤﺎز ﻋ ﺪ ﻟ ﺗ ﺎر ﻮ ﺟﺎ ﺗﻮ ﻃﻠ ع آﻓﺘﺎب‬
‫دﻋﺎﺋ ﭘﮍ ﺟﻮ ﺳ ﺪ ﮐﺘﺎب اﻗ ﺎل ﻣ ﻧﻘﻞ ﮨ ۔‬
It is recommended not to leave one’s house for joining the
congregational ‘Id al-Fitr Prayer before sunrise. It is also
recommended to say the supplicatory prayers that have
been mentioned by Sayyid Ibn Tawus in Iqbal al-A’mal.
،‫ﮐﮧ ﻋ ﺪ ﻓﻄﺮ‬ ؑ ‫اﻣﺎم ﷴ‬
‫ﺎﻗﺮ روا ﺖ‬ ‫اس ذ ﻞ ﻣ اﺑﻮ ﺣﻤﺰە ﺛﻤﺎ‬
: ‫ﻋ ﺪ ﻗ ﺎن اور ﺟﻤﻌﮧ روز ﺟﺐ ﻧﻤﺎز ﻟ ﻧ ﺗﻮ ﯾﮧ دﻋﺎ ﭘﮍ‬
Among these supplicatory prayers is the one that Abu-
Hamzah al-Thumali has reported Imam Muhammad al-Baqir
(a.s.) as saying: Whey you ready yourself for joining the
congregational Friday Prayers and the ‘Id Prayers, you may
say the following supplicatory prayer:
َ َ
‫اﻟﻠ ُﮭ ﱠﻢ َﻣ ْﻦ ﺗ َﮭ ﱠ ِ ﮬﺬا اﻟ َﯿ ْﻮ ِم‬
‫دن‬ ‫آج‬ ‫اے ﻣﻌﺒﻮد ﺟﻮ ﺷﺨﺺ آﻣﺎدە‬
O Allah, if one, on this day, prepares oneself,
ْ َ َ ‫ْ ََﱠ ْ َﱠ َ ْ ََ ﱠ‬
‫ﻮق‬
ٍ ‫ﻠ‬ ‫ﺨ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫إ‬ ٍ ‫ﻓﺎد‬‫ﻮ‬‫ﻟ‬ِ ‫ٲو ﺗﻌ ٲو ٲﻋﺪ واﺳﺘﻌ‬
‫ﺪ‬
‫ﻃﺮف ﺟﺎ ﮐ ﻠ‬ ‫ﻟﻮﮔﻮں‬ ‫ﺎ ﺗ ﺎری ﮐﺮﺗﺎ اور ﺗ ﺎر ﻮﺗﺎ‬ ‫ﺎ ﻤﺮ ﺴﺘﮧ‬
takes pains, gets ready, or prepares oneself to visit another one,
َ َ َ ََ ْ َ َ َ
‫ﻮاﺿ ِﻠ ِﮧ َوﻋﻄﺎ َ ُﺎە‬
ِ ‫ﻓ‬ ‫و‬ ‫ﮧ‬
ِ ِ ِ ‫رﺟﺎء رﻓ ِﺪ ِە و‬
‫ﻠ‬ ‫ﻮاﻓ‬‫ﻧ‬
‫اور ﻋﻄﺎﺋ‬ ‫ﻧﻘﺪی ﭼ ﮟ ﺨﺸﺸ‬ ‫ﮐﮧ ان‬ ‫اس اﻣ ﺪ‬
hoping for his aid, gifts, benefits, and grants;
َ َ ‫َ ﱠ‬
‫َ ﺎ َﺳ ﱢ ِﺪی ﺗ ْﮭ ِﯿ ِﺌ‬ ْ ‫ﺈن إﻟ‬ ‫ﻓ‬
‫آﻗﺎ ﻣ ی ﺗ ﺎری‬ ‫اے ﻣ‬ ‫ﻟ ﮑﻦ ﺗ ی ﻃﺮف آ ﻣ‬
for You alone, my Lord, is my readiness,
ْ ْ َ ْ َ َ ََْ
‫ﺪادی‬
ِ ‫ﺪادی واﺳ ِﺘﻌ‬
ِ ‫وﺗﻌ ِﺒ ﺌ ِ و إﻋ‬
‫اور ﻣ ی آﻣﺎد اور ﻣ ی ﺳﺎری ﮐﻮﺷﺶ‬
preparations, taking pains, training, and inclination
ََ َ َ ْ َ َ َ
‫ﻮاﻓ ِﻠ‬
ِ ‫ﻮاﯾﺰک وﻧ‬
ِ ‫رﺟﺎء رﻓ ِﺪک وﺟ‬
‫اﻧﻌﺎم ﺎ‬ ‫اﻣ ﺪوار ﻮں ﺗ ی ﻋﻄﺎ ﺎ ﺗ‬ ‫ﮐﮧ ﻣ‬
in the hope of gaining Your aid, and your gifts,
َ َ َ َ َ
‫َوﻋﻄﺎ ﺎ‬ ‫ﻀﺎﺋ ِﻠ‬
ِ ‫و‬ ‫ﻓ‬ ‫ﻮاﺿ ِﻠ‬
ِ ‫و‬
‫ﻓ‬
‫اﺣﺴﺎﻧﻮں ﺎ ﺗ ی ﻣﮩ ﺎﻧﯿﻮں اور ﺨﺸﺸﻮں ﺎ‬ ‫اور ﺗ ی ﻋﻨﺎﺋﺘﻮں ﺎ اور ﺗ‬
And benefits, and bounties, and donations.

‫ُﻣ َﺤ ﱠﻤ ٍﺪ‬ ‫َو َﻗ ْﺪ َﻏ َﺪ ْو ُت إ ﻋ ﺪ ﻣ ْﻦ ٲ ْﻋ ﺎد ٲ ﱠﻣﺔ َﻧ ﱢ‬

ِ ِ ِ ِ ٍ ِ
‫اﻣﺖ‬ ‫ﻧ ﷴﷺ‬ ‫دن ﺟﻮ ﺗ‬ ‫اﮏﻋﺪ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫اور آج ﺻﺒﺢ‬
ْ ِ ‫ﺲ ْ اﻟ َﻘ ْ َو ْﺣ َﺸ‬ُ ُْ ْ َ َ

‫ﻣﺎﺧﻮز | ﻣﺎە ﺷﻮال ﻓﻀ ﻠﺖ اور اﻋﻤﺎل‬ ‫ﻣﻔﺎﺗﯿﺢ اﻟﺠﻨﺎن و ﺎﻗ ﺎت اﻟﺼﺎﻟﺤﺎت | ﺎب دوم‬

‫ﻋ ﺪوں ﻣ‬
‫‪I find myself celebrating one of the feasts commemorated‬‬
‫‪by the nation of Your Prophet, Muhammad,‬‬
‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ُ‬
‫َﺻﻠﻮات ا ِ ﻋﻠ ْﯿ ِﮧ َوﻋ ِآﻟ ِﮧ‬
‫آل ﭘﺮ‬‫ؑ‬ ‫ﻮں ان ﭘﺮ اور ان‬ ‫ﺟﻮ ﺗ ی رﺣﻤﺘ‬
‫‪blessings of Allah be upon him and his Household.‬‬
‫َﱠ ُُ‬ ‫ُ‬ ‫َْ َ َ َ‬ ‫َوﻟ ْﻢ ٲﻓ ْﺪ إﻟ ْ‬
‫ﺻﺎﻟﺢ ٲ ِﺛﻖ ِﺑ ِﮧ ﻗﺪ ْﻣﺘﮧ‬
‫اﻟﯿﻮم ِ ﻌﻤ ٍﻞ ِ‬ ‫ِ‬
‫آ ﺎ ﻮں ﺟﺴﮑﻮ ﻘﯿ‬ ‫ﺣﻀﻮر ﮐﻮ ﺻﺎﻟﺢ ﻋﻤﻞ ﮐﺮ ﻧﮩ‬ ‫آج ﺗ‬ ‫اور ﻣ‬
‫ﻃﻮر ﭘﺮ ﭘ ﺶ ﮐﺮوں‬
‫‪I have not come to You, today, carrying a righteous deeds‬‬
‫‪that I may trust to present before You‬‬
‫ُُ‬ ‫َ َ ََ ﱠ ْ ُ َ ْ‬
‫ﻮق ٲ ﱠﻣﻠﺘﮧ‬
‫ٍ‬ ‫ﻠ‬ ‫ﺨ‬ ‫و ﺗﻮﺟﮭﺖ ِ ﻤ‬
‫ﻃﺮف ﺗﻮﺟﮧ اور اﻣ ﺪ رﮐﮭﺘﺎ ﻮں‬ ‫ﻣﺨﻠﻮق‬ ‫ﻧﮧ ﮐ‬
‫;‪nor have I introduced a creature as my interceder before You‬‬
‫َْ‬ ‫َ َ‬ ‫ُ ُ‬ ‫ُ‬ ‫َ ْ َُْ‬
‫ﺧﺎﺿﻌﺎ ﻣ ِﻘ ّﺮا ِ ﺬﻧﻮ ِ و ﺳﺎﺋ ِ إ ﻧﻔ ِ‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫ﺘ‬ ‫وﻟ ِ ﻦ ٲﺗ‬
‫ﮨﺎں ﻣﮕﺮ ﺗ ی ﺟﻨﺎب ﻣ ﻋﺎﺟﺰ ﺑﻦ ﮐﺮ اﭘ ﮔﻨﺎ ﻮں اور ﺧﻄﺎؤں ﺎ اﻗﺮاری ﻮﮐﺮ آ ﺎ ﻮں‬
‫‪rather, I submissively draw near You confessing of my‬‬
‫‪wrongdoings and my offenses to myself.‬‬
‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ َ‬
‫ﻓ ﺎ ﻋ ِﻈ ُﻢ َ ﺎ ﻋ ِﻈ ُﻢ َ ﺎ ﻋ ِﻈ ُﻢ‬
‫ﺗﻮاے ﻋﻈﻤﺖ وا اے ﻋﻈﻤﺖ وا اے ﻋﻈﻤﺖ وا‬
‫‪So, O All-great, O All-great, O All-great,‬‬
‫ُُ‬ ‫ْ‬
‫اﻏ ِﻔ ْﺮ ِ َ اﻟ َﻌ ِﻈ َﻢ ِﻣ ْﻦ ذﻧﻮ ِ ‪،‬‬
‫ﺑﮍ ﺑﮍ ﮔﻨﺎ ﻮں ﮐﻮ‬ ‫ﺨﺶ دے ﻣ‬
‫‪(please) forgive my grave wrongdoings,‬‬
‫َ ﱠ ْ َ‬ ‫َ ﱠُ َ َْ ُ ﱡ‬
‫اﻟﺬ ُﻧ َ‬
‫ﻮب اﻟ ِﻌﻈﺎم إ ٲﻧﺖ‬ ‫ﻓﺈﻧﮧ ﻐ ِﻔﺮ‬
‫ﺑﮍ ﮔﻨﺎ ﻮں ﮐﻮ ﺨﺸﺘﺎ ﻮ‬ ‫ﺟﻮ ﺑﮍ‬ ‫ﺳﻮا ﮐﻮ ﻧﮩ‬ ‫ﮐﯿﻮﻧﮑﮧ ﺗ‬
‫‪for, verily, no one can forgive serious transgressions save You.‬‬
‫َ َ ﱠ ْ َ‬
‫َ ﺎ إﻟﮧ إ ٲﻧﺖ‬
‫ﺳﻮا ﺳﻮا ﮐﻮ ﻣﻌﺒﻮد ﻧﮩ‬ ‫ﺗ‬
‫!‪O He save Whom there is no god‬‬
‫َ ﺎ ٲ ْر َﺣ َﻢ ﱠ‬
‫اﻟﺮ ِاﺣ ِﻤ َ ۔‬
‫ز ﺎدە رﺣﻢ وا ۔‬ ‫اے ﺳﺐ‬
‫!‪O most Merciful of all the merciful‬‬

‫‪Salat al-’EID‬‬ ‫﴿‪ ﴾۸‬ﻧﻤﺎز ﻋ ﺪ‬

‫‪،‬‬ ‫ﻧﻤﺎز ﻋ ﺪ دو رﮐﻌﺖ‬
‫‪It is recommended, thereafter, to offer the ‘Id Prayer (Salat‬‬
‫‪al-’Id), which consists of two units.‬‬
‫ﭘﮩ رﮐﻌﺖ‬
‫ﻌﺪ ﺳﻮرە اﻋ ٰ ﭘﮍ‬ ‫ﺳﻮرە اﻟﺤﻤﺪ‬ ‫ﭘﮩ رﮐﻌﺖ ﻣ‬
‫‪In the first unit, recite Surah al-Faatehah and Surah al-A’la‬‬
‫‪(No. 87).‬‬
‫ٱﻟﺮ ِﺣ ِﻢ‬ ‫ٱﻟﺮ ْﺣ َﻤ ٰ ﻦ ﱠ‬ ‫ْﺴﻢ ٱﻟﻠ ِـﻪ ﱠ‬
‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ِْ َ ِ‬
‫ٱﻷ ْﻋ ﴿‪ ﴾١‬ٱﻟﺬى َﺧﻠ َﻖ ﻓ َﺴ ﱠﻮ ٰى ﴿‪َ ﴾٢‬وٱﻟﺬى ﻗ ﱠﺪرَ‬ ‫َ‬
‫َﺳ ﱢﺒﺢ ْٱﺳ َﻢ َ ﱢر ﻚ‬
‫َُ ِ‬ ‫ِ‬
‫ً ْ َ ٰ‬ ‫َ َ َ ُ‬ ‫ٓ ْ َ َ َْ َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ََ َ ٰ‬
‫ﻓﻬﺪى ﴿‪ ﴾٣‬وٱﻟ ِﺬى أﺧ ج ٱﻟﻤﺮ ٰ ﴿‪ ﴾٤‬ﻓﺠﻌﻠﻪۥ ﻏﺜـ ء أﺣﻮى﴿‪﴾٥‬‬
‫ُ ﱠُ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ﱠ‬ ‫ُْ ُ َ ََ َ‬
‫َﺳﻨﻘﺮﺋﻚ ﻓ ﺗ َ ٰٓ ﴿‪ِ ﴾٦‬إ َﻣﺎ ﺷ َء ٱﻟﻠـﻪ ۚ◌ ِإﻧﻪۥ َ ْﻌﻠ ُﻢ ٱﻟ َﺠ ْﻬ َﺮ َو َﻣﺎ‬
‫ﱢ َ ٰ‬
‫ﺖ ٱﻟﺬﻛﺮى﴿‪﴾٩‬‬
‫ﱠَ َ‬ ‫ََ‬ ‫ََُ ﱢ َ ُ ْ‬
‫ﺨ ﱠ ٰ ﴿‪ ﴾٧‬وﻧ ُ ْك ِﻟﻠ َ ٰى﴿‪ ﴾٨‬ﻓﺬﻛ ْﺮ ْ َِإ ْن َ ﻧﻔﻌ ِ‬
‫َ ْ َ‬
‫َ ﱠ‬ ‫َ‬
‫َﺳ َ ﺬﻛ ُﺮ َﻣﻦ َ ﺨ ٰ ﴿‪َ ﴾١٠‬و َ ﺘ َﺠﻨ ُﺒ َﻬﺎ ٱﻷﺷ ﴿‪ ﴾١١‬ٱﻟ ِﺬى َ ْﺼ‬
‫َْ ْ َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ُ‬ ‫ُ َ‬ ‫ﱠ‬
‫ٱﻟﻨ َﺎر ٱﻟ ْ َ ٰى ﴿‪ ﴾١٢‬ﺛ ﱠﻢ َ ُﻤﻮت ِﻓ َﻴﻬﺎ َو َ ْﺤ َ ٰ ﴿‪ ﴾١٣‬ﻗﺪ أﻓﻠﺢ‬
‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ُْ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ‬
‫َﻣﻦ ﺗ َﺰ ٰ ﴿‪َ ﴾١٤‬وذ َﺮ ْٱﺳ َﻢ َ ﱢر ِﻪۦ ﻓ َﺼ ٰ ﴿‪ْ َ ﴾١٥‬ﻞ ﺗﺆ ِﺛ ُﺮون ٱﻟ َﺤ َﻴ ٰﻮة‬

 ‫اﻋﻤﺎل‬ ‫ ﯾﻮم ﻋ ﺪ ﻓﻄﺮ‬:‫ﻣﺎە ﺷﻮال‬

‫ﻣﺎﺧﻮز | ﻣﺎە ﺷﻮال ﻓﻀ ﻠﺖ اور اﻋﻤﺎل‬ ‫ﻣﻔﺎﺗﯿﺢ اﻟﺠﻨﺎن و ﺎﻗ ﺎت اﻟﺼﺎﻟﺤﺎت | ﺎب دوم‬
َ َ ‫ﱠ‬ ٰٓ َ ْ ‫﴾ َوٱﻟ ﺎﺧ َﺮ ُة َﺧ ْ ٌ َوأ‬١٦﴿ ْ‫ﱡ‬
‫ٱﻟﺼ ُﺤ ِﻒ‬
‫ﱡ‬
ِ ‫ِإن ﻫ ٰ ﺬا ﻟ‬ ﴾١٧﴿ ِ ‫ٱﻟﺪﻧ َ ﺎ‬
ُْ
﴾١٩﴿ ٰ
َ ُ َ َ َ ْ
‫﴾ ُﺻ ُﺤ ِﻒ ِإﺑ ٰﺮ ِﻫ ﻢ وﻣﻮ‬١٨﴿ ٰ ‫ٱﻷو‬
‫ﻗﻨﻮت‬
: ‫ﻌﺪ ﯾﮧ ﻗﻨﻮت ﭘﮍ‬ ‫ﻌﺪ ﺎﻧﭻ ﺗﮑﺒ ﮟ ﮐﮩ ﮐﮧ ﺮ ﺗﮑﺒ‬ ٰ ‫اور ﺳﻮرە اﻋ‬
After the recitation of these Surahs, say the Takbir
statement (i.e. Allahu-akbar) five times and raise your
hands for Qunut after each Takbir, saying:
ْ
،‫اﻟﻠ ُﮭ ﱠﻢ ٲﮬ َﻞ اﻟ ِ ْ َ ِﺎء َواﻟ َﻌﻈ َﻤ ِﺔ‬
‫ﺗﻮ‬ ‫ﺎ ﻣﺎﻟ‬ ‫ﺎراﻟﮩﺎ ﺑﺰرﮔﯿﻮں ﺎ اور ﺑﮍا‬
O Allah: You are the Lord of glory and greatness
َ َ َ ‫َوٲ ْﮬ َﻞ اﻟ ُﺠ‬
ِ ُ ‫ﻮد واﻟﺠ‬
،‫وت‬ ِ
‫ﺗﻮ‬ ‫اور ﺨﺸﺶ ﺎ اور د ﺪ ﺎ ﻣﺎﻟ‬
And the Lord of magnanimity and omnipotence
‫َوٲ ْﮬ َﻞ اﻟ َﻌ ْﻔﻮ َو ﱠ‬
‫اﻟﺮ ْﺣ َﻤ ِﺔ‬
‫ﺗﻮ‬ ‫ﺎ ﻣﺎﻟ‬ ‫اور درﮔﺰر اور ﻣﮩ ﺎ‬
And the Lord of pardon and mercy,
ْ ْ‫ﱠ‬ ْ
، ِ‫َوٲﮬ َﻞ اﻟﺘﻘﻮی َواﻟ َﻤﻐ ِﻔ َﺮ‬
‫ﺗﻮ‬ ‫اور ﺗﻘﻮی اور ﻣﻐﻔﺮت ﺎ ﻣﺎﻟ‬
And the worthiest of being feared and the Lord of forgiveness;
َُ َ ‫ﱢ‬
‫ِ َﺤﻖ ﮬﺬا اﻟ َﯿ ْﻮ ِم اﻟ ِﺬی َﺟ َﻌﻠﺘﮧ ِﻟﻠ ُﻤ ْﺴ ِﻠ ِﻤ َ ِﻋ ﺪا‬ ‫ٲ ْﺳ ﻟ‬
‫ﻣﺴﻠﻤﺎﻧﻮں ﮐ ﻠ‬ ‫ﺟﺲ ﮐﻮ ﺗﻮ‬ ‫ﺑﻮاﺳﻄﮧ آج دن‬ ‫ﺳﻮال ﮐﺮﺗﺎ ﻮں ﻣ‬ ‫ﻣ‬
،‫ﻋ ﺪ ﻗﺮار د ﺎ‬
I beseech You in the name of this day, which You have
decided to be feast for the Muslims,
ْ ُ َ
‫َو ِﻟ ُﻤ َﺤ ﱠﻤ ٍﺪ َﺻ ا ُ ﻋﻠ ْﯿ ِﮧ َو ِآﻟ ِﮧ ذﺧﺮا َو َﻣ ﺪا‬
‫ﻣﺎﯾﮧ اور اﺿﺎﻓﮧ ﺎ دن ﺑﻨﺎ ﺎ‬ ‫ا‬ ‫اور ﷴ ﮐ ﻠ‬
And to be safety and increasing honor for Muhammad—
peace of Allah be upon him and his Household—

‫آل ُﻣ َﺤ ﱠﻤ ٍﺪ‬ َ ‫ْ ُ َ َ َ ُ َ ﱠ‬
ِ ‫ٲن ﺗﺼ ﻋ ﻣﺤﻤ ٍﺪ و‬
‫آج ﷴﷺ وآل ﷴﷺ ﭘﺮ رﺣﻤﺖ ﻧﺎزل ﻓﺮﻣﺎ‬
(I beseech You) that You may send blessings upon
Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
َ َ ْ ْ َ ‫ﱢ‬ ُْ ْ َ
‫ﯿﮧ‬
ِ ِ‫ﻓ‬ ‫ﺖ‬ ‫ﻠ‬‫ﺧ‬ ‫د‬ ‫ٲ‬ ‫ﺧ‬ ‫ﻞ‬ ِ َ ِ ِ ‫وٲن ﺗ‬
‫ﻠ‬ ‫ﺧ‬ ‫ﺪ‬
َ َ
َ ‫ُﻣﺤ ﱠﻤﺪا و‬
،‫آل ُﻣﺤ ﱠﻤ ٍﺪ‬
ؑ ‫ﷴﷺ‬
‫وآل ﷴﷺ‬ ‫ﺗﻮ‬ ‫ﺮ اس ﻧ ﻣ ﺟﺲ ﻣ‬ ‫اور ﯾﮧ ﮐﮧ داﺧﻞ ﮐﺮ ﻣﺠﮭ‬
‫ﮐﻮ داﺧﻞ ﮐ ﺎ‬
And You may include me with every item of goodness with
which You have included Muhammad and the Household of
Muhammad,
ُْ َ ْ
‫ﻮء ٲﺧ َﺮ ْﺟﺖ ِﻣﻨﮧ‬ ‫ﺳ‬ُ ‫َوٲ ْن ُﺗ ْﺨﺮ َﺟ ﻣ ْﻦ ﱢﻞ‬
ٍ ِ ِ
‫ُﻣ َﺤﻤﺪا وآل ﻣﺤﻤ ٍﺪ‬
‫ﱠ‬ َ ُ َ َ ‫ﱠ‬
‫ﷴﷺ و آل ﷴﷺ‬ ‫ﺗﻮ‬ ‫ﺮ اس ﺪی ﺟﺲ‬ ‫اور ﯾﮧ ﮐﮧ دور ﮐﺮد ﻣﺠﮭ‬
‫ﮐﻮ دور رﮐﮭﺎ‬
And that You save me from any item of evil from which You
have saved Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,
َ َ ُ
‫ﻋﻠ ْﯿ ِﮧ َوﻋﻠ ْﯿ ِﮭ ْﻢ ۔‬ ‫َﺻﻠﻮاﺗ‬
‫آل ﭘﺮ‬ ‫تﷺ ﭘﺮ اور اﻧ‬ ‫ﻮں آﻧﺤ‬ ‫ﺗ ی رﺣﻤﺘ‬
Please do bless Muhammad and the Household of
Muhammad,

ْ ِ ‫ﺲ ْ اﻟ َﻘ ْ َو ْﺣ َﺸ‬ُ ُْ ْ َ َ

‫ُ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ﱢ‬

‫ِﻋ ﺎد‬ ‫اﻟﻠ ُﮭ ﱠﻢ إ ٲ ْﺳ ﻟ ﺧ ْ َ َﻣﺎ َﺳ ﻟ‬
‫َ‬
‫اﻟﺼ ِﺎﻟ ُﺤﻮن‪،‬‬
‫ﱠ‬
‫ﺎ ﺟﺲ ﺎ ﺳﻮال ﺗﺠﮫ‬ ‫ﺮ اس ﺑﮭﻼ‬ ‫ﺳﻮال ﮐﺮﺗﺎ ﻮں ﺗﺠﮫ‬ ‫اے ﻣﻌﺒﻮد ﻣ‬
‫ﻧ ﮏ ﺑﻨﺪوں ﮐ ﺎ‬ ‫ﺗ‬
‫‪O Allah: I pray You for the best of all that for which Your‬‬
‫‪righteous servants have prayed You,‬‬
‫َ‬ ‫ُ‬ ‫َ َ ُْ‬ ‫ُ ُ‬
‫اﻟﺼ ِﺎﻟ ُﺤﻮن۔‬
‫ﱠ‬ ‫َوٲﻋﻮذ ِ ﮏ ِﻣ ﱠﻤﺎ ْاﺳﺘﻌﺎذ ِﻣﻨﮧ ِﻋ ﺎد‬
‫۔‬ ‫ﭘﻨﺎە ﭼﺎ‬ ‫ﻧ ﮑﻮ ﺎر ﻨﺪوں‬ ‫ﺗ‬ ‫اور ﭘﻨﺎە ﻟﯿﺘﺎ ﻮں ﺗ ی ﺟﺲ‬
‫‪And I seek Your protection against all that against which‬‬
‫‪Your righteous servants have asked Your protection.‬‬
‫ﭘﮭﺮ ﭼﮭ ﺗﮑﺒ ﮐﮩﮧ ﮐﺮ رﮐ ع و ﺳﺠﻮد ﮐﺮ ۔‬
‫‪You may then say the Takbir statement for the sixth time,‬‬
‫‪do the genuflection (ruku’), and prostrate yourself (sujud).‬‬

‫دو ی رﮐﻌﺖ‬
‫ﻌﺪ ﺳﻮرە اﻟﺸﻤﺲ ﭘﮍ اور ﭼﺎر ﺗﮑﺒ ﮟ‬ ‫ﺳﻮرە اﻟﺤﻤﺪ‬ ‫دو ی رﮐﻌﺖ ﻣ‬
‫ﮐﮩ ‪،‬‬
‫‪When you stand up for the second unit, recite Surah al-‬‬
‫‪Faatehah and Surah al-Shams (No. 91) and then say the‬‬
‫‪Takbir statement four times only raising the hands for Qunut‬‬
‫‪after each statement.‬‬
‫ٱﻟﺮ ْﺣ َﻤ ٰ ﻦ ﱠ‬
‫ٱﻟﺮ ِﺣ ِﻢ‬ ‫ْﺴﻢ ٱﻟﻠ ِـﻪ ﱠ‬

‫َ ﱠ‬
‫َوٱﻟﺸ ْﻤﺲ َوﺿ َﺤ ٰﯩ َﻬﺎ ﴿‪ ﴾١‬وٱﻟﻘﻤﺮ ِإذا ﺗﻠﯩﻬﺎ ﴿‪ ﴾٢‬وٱﻟﻨﻬﺎر َ ِإذا‬
‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ٰ‬ ‫َ‬
‫ْ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َﺟﻠ ٰﯩ َﻬﺎ﴿‪َ ﴾٣‬وٱﻟ ْ ﻞ إ َذا َ ْﻐ َﺸ ٰﯩ َﻬﺎ ﴿‪َ ﴾٤‬و ﱠ‬
‫ٱﻟﺴ َﻤ ِء َو َﻣﺎ َﺑ ٰﯩ َﻬﺎ﴿‪َ ﴾٥‬وٱﻷ ْرض‬
‫َ َ ََ ُ ُ َ َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ٰ‬ ‫ﱠ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫َ َ َ َ َٰ ِ ِ ََْ‬
‫وﻣﺎ ﻃﺤﯩﻬﺎ ﴿‪ ﴾٦‬وﻧﻔﺲ وﻣﺎ ﺳﻮﯨﻬﺎ ﴿‪ ﴾٧‬ﻓﺄﻟﻬﻤﻬﺎ ﻓﺠﻮرﻫﺎ‬
‫ﺎب َﻣﻦ‬ ‫َو َﺗ ْﻘ َﻮ ٰﯨ َﻬﺎ ﴿‪َ ﴾٨‬ﻗ ْﺪ أ ْﻓﻠ َﺢ َﻣﻦ َز ٰﯩ َﻬﺎ ﴿‪َ ﴾٩‬و َﻗ ْﺪ َﺧ َ‬
‫َۢ َ َ ْ َ َٰ‬ ‫ﱠ َ ْ َ ُ ُ َ ْ ََٰ‬
‫دﺳﯩﻬﺎ ﴿‪ ﴾١٠‬ﻛﺬ ﺖ ﺛﻤﻮد ﻄﻐﻮﯨﻬ ﴿‪ِ ﴾١١‬إ ِذ ٱﻧ ﻌﺚ أﺷﻘﯩﻬﺎ﴿‪﴾١٢‬‬
‫َ ﱠ َٰ‬
‫ﻮل ٱﻟﻠـﻪ َﻧ َﺎﻗ َﺔ ٱﻟﻠـﻪ َو ُﺳ ْﻘ َﻴ ٰ َﻬﺎ ﴿‪َ ﴾١٣‬ﻓ ﱠﺬ ُﺑ ُ‬ ‫ِ‬ ‫َﻓ َﻘ َ‬
‫ﺎل ﻟ ُﻬ ْﻢ َر ُﺳ ُ‬

‫ﻓ َﻌﻘ ُﺮوﻫﺎ ﻓﺪ ْﻣﺪ َم ﻋﻠ ْﻴ ِﻬﻢ ر ـﻬﻢ ِ ﺬﻧ ِﺒ ِﻬﻢ ﻓﺴﻮﯨﻬﺎ ﴿‪ ﴾١٤‬و‬
‫ٰ‬ ‫ﱠ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ﱡ‬ ‫َ‬ ‫ْ‬
‫َ َ ُ َُْ َ‬
‫ﺨﺎف ﻋﻘﺒ ٰ ﻬﺎ ﴿‪﴾١٥‬‬

‫ﻗﻨﻮت‬
‫اور ﺎﻧﭽ ﮟ ﺗﮑﺒ ﮐﮩﮧ ﮐﺮ رﮐ ع و ﺳﺠﻮد ﮐﺮ‬ ‫ﻗﻨﻮت ﭘﮍ‬ ‫ﻌﺪ و‬ ‫ﺮ ﺗﮑﺒ‬
‫‪After that, say the fifth Takbir statement and continue the‬‬
‫‪prayer.‬‬

‫ﺴ ﯿﺢ ز ﺮا‬
‫ﻌﺪ ﺴ ﯿﺢ ﻓﺎﻃﻤﮧ ز ﺮا ﺳﻼم ﷲ ﻋﻠﯿﮩﺎ ﭘﮍ ‪:‬‬ ‫اور ﺸﮩﺪ و ﺳﻼم‬
‫‪After accomplishment of the prayer, say the famous Tasbih‬‬
‫‪al-Zahra’(a.s.).‬‬

‫‪Narrations have mentioned many supplicatory prayers to be‬‬
‫‪said after the ‘Id Prayer; rather, the best of them may be‬‬
‫‪the forty-sixth supplication of al-Sahifah al-Kamilah al-‬‬
‫‪Sajjadiyyah‬‬

‫‪Recite forty-sixth supplication of al-Sahifah al-Kamilah al-‬‬

‫ﭘﺮ ﭘﮍ ‪ ،‬ﺟﺲ ﺎ ﻓﺮش ﻧﮧ ﮐ ﺎ ﮔ ﺎ‬ ‫زﻣ‬ ‫ﮐﮧ ﻧﻤﺎز ﻋ ﺪ ز ﺮ آﺳﻤﺎن ا‬ ‫ﻣﺴﺘﺤﺐ‬

‫ﺎ ﻗﺒﻮل ﻮ ۔‬ ‫ﻣﺎﻧ‬ ‫ﺗﮭﺎ اس روز اﭘ ﻟ اور اﭘ دﯾ ﺑﮭﺎﺋﯿﻮں ﮐ ﻠ ﺟﻮ دﻋﺎ ﺑ‬

It is also recommended to offer the ‘Id Prayer outdoors,

directly on the ground without putting a carpet or any other
thing under the feet, to return from a way other than the
one taken in the coming, and to pray Almighty Allah for
accepting the acts of one’s brethren-in-faith.
Visit the holy tomb of Imam ؑ ‫﴾ ز ﺎرت اﻣﺎم ﺣﺴ‬۹﴿
al-Husayn (as)
: ‫اﻣﺎم ﺣﺴ ؑ ز ﺎرت ﭘﮍ‬
It is recommended to visit the holy tomb of Imam al-Husayn
(a.s.).

say Dua al-Nudbah ‫﴾ دﻋﺎئ ﻧﺪﺑﮧ ﭘﮍ‬۱٠﴿

،‫آ ﺎ‬ ‫دﻋﺎئ ﻧﺪﺑﮧ ﭘﮍ ﮐﮧ ﺟﺲ ﺎ ذﮐﺮ ﺎب ز ﺎرت ﻣ‬
It is recommended to say the famous supplicatory prayer
known as Dua al-Nudbah, which will be cited later on in this
book.

﴾۞﴿
: ‫رﮐﮭ اور ﮐﮩ‬ ‫ﻌﺪ ﺳﺠﺪے ﻣ‬ ‫ﺳ ﺪ اﺑﻦ ﻃﺎؤس ﮐﮩ ﮨ ﮐﮧ ﯾﮧ دﻋﺎ ﭘﮍﮬ‬
Sayyid Ibn Tawus has instructed, saying: After saying Dua
al-Nudbah, prostrate yourself and say the following:
ْ َ ُ ُ
‫ٲﻋﻮذ ِ ﮏ ِﻣ ْﻦ ﻧﺎر َﺣ ﱡﺮﮬﺎ ُ ﻄﻔ‬
‫ﺟﺎ ﺳﮑ‬ ‫ﺟﻮ ﺠﮭﺎ ﻧﮩ‬ ‫ﺗ ی ﭘﻨﺎە ﻟﯿﺘﺎ ﻮں آ‬
I seek refuge with Thee from the Fire whose hot flames do
not get extinguished or grow dim,
ْ ‫َو َﺟﺪ ُﺪﮬﺎ َ َﯾ‬
ِ
‫ﭘﮍ‬ ‫ﺗﺎز ﻣﺎن ﻧﮩ‬ ‫اور اس‬
whose energetic intensity does not loose its severity,
َ ُ ْ َ
‫َوﻋﻄﺸﺎﻧﮭﺎ ُﯾ ْﺮوی‬
‫ﻮ‬ ‫ﭘ ﺎس دور ﻧﮩ‬ ‫اور ﺟﺲ‬
wherein parched throats never get quenched.
: ‫اب دا ﺎں رﺧﺴﺎر رﮐﮭ اور ﮐﮩ‬
You may then put your right cheek on the ground and say
the following:

‫ﻮدی‬ ُ ‫اﻟﻨﺎر َ ْﻌ َﺪ ُﺳ‬

‫ﺠ‬
‫ﱠ‬ ْ ‫َ ُﺗ َﻘﻠ ْﺐ َو‬
‫ﺟ‬
ِ ِ ِ ِ ‫إﻟ‬
‫ﺳﺠﺪے ﮐ‬ ‫ﻧﮧ اﻟﭧ ﻠﭧ ﺟ ﮑﮧ ﻣ‬ ‫ﻣ‬ ‫ﭼﮩﺮ ﮐﻮ آ‬ ‫اے ﻣﻌﺒﻮد ﻣ‬
O Allah do not throw me down head on into the Fire after I
have prostrated in adoration before Thee
‫اﻟ َﻤ ﱡﻦ َﻋ ﱠ‬ ْ ‫َﻐ ْ َﻣ ﱟﻦ ﻣ ﱢ َﻋﻠ‬ َ
‫َ ْﻞ ﻟ‬ ِ ِ ‫َوﺗ ْﻌ ِﻔ ی ﻟ‬
‫ﺧﺎ ﭘﺮ رﮔﮍا ﮐﮧ اس ﻣ ﺗﺠﮫ ﭘﺮ ﻣ ا ﮐﻮ اﺣﺴﺎن ﻧﮩ‬ ‫ﻟ ا‬ ‫اور ﺗ‬
‫ﻠ ﮧ ﯾﮧ ﻣﺠﮫ ﭘﺮ ﺗ ا اﺣﺴﺎن‬
and thrown myself on the ground to humble myself before
Thee; it is not a show of favour from me unto Thee but it is
(Thy) merciful benevolence Thou bestows on me.
: ‫ﭘﮭﺮ ﺎ ﺎں رﺧﺴﺎر رﮐﮭ اور ﮐﮩ‬
You may then put your left cheek on the ground and say the
following:
َ َْ َ َ َ َْ
‫ِا ْر َﺣ ْﻢ َﻣ ْﻦ أ َﺳ َﺎء َواﻗ َ ف َو ْاﺳﺘ ﺎن َواﻋ َ ف‬
‫ﭼﺎرە اس ﺎ اﻋ اف ﮐﺮﺗﺎ‬ ‫اور وە‬ ‫ﺪی و ﻧﺎﻓﺮﻣﺎ‬ ‫رﺣﻢ ﻓﺮﻣﺎ اس ﭘﺮ ﺟﺲ‬
Have mercy on him who has transgressed and committed
blunders, (but) now ashamed surrenders (to Thee) to
receive absolution.
: ‫ﺟﺎ اور ﮐﮩ‬ ‫اور ﭘﮭﺮ ﺳﺠﺪە ﻣ‬
You may then return to the (ordinary) prostration & say the
following:
ْ ِ ‫ﺲ ْ اﻟ َﻘ ْ َو ْﺣ َﺸ‬ُ ُْ ْ َ َ

‫ا ﮏ ﺑﺮا ﺑﻨﺪە ﻮں ﺲ ﺗﻮ ﻘﯿﻨﺎ اﭼﮭﺎ ﭘﺮورد ﺎر‬ ‫ا ﺮﻣ‬
I am a troublesome servant but Thou art the bountiful Lord-
Nourisher.
ْ َ َ ْ ‫ﱠ‬ َ
‫ﻋﻈ َﻢ اﻟﺬﻧ ُﺐ ِﻣ ْﻦ ﻋ ْ ِﺪک ﻓﻠ َ ْﺤ ُﺴﻦ اﻟ َﻌﻔ ُﻮ ِﻣ ْﻦ‬
ْ
‫ِﻋﻨ ِﺪک َ ﺎ ﮐ ُﻢ‬
‫ﺑﮩ ﻦ ﭘﺮدە‬ ‫ﺑﮍ ﺑﮍ ﮔﻨﺎە ﻮ ﮨ ﺗﻮ ﺑ ﺗ ی ﻃﺮف‬ ‫ﺑﻨﺪے‬ ‫ﺗ‬
‫ﻮ ﭼﺎ ﯿ اے ﻣﮩ ﺎن‬ ‫ﭘﻮ‬
A great many mistakes have been committed by Thy servant
but O Compassionate, from Thee (only) Lenient treatment is
expected.
: ‫ﭘﮭﺮ ﺳﻮ ﺎر ﮐﮩ‬
You may then repeat the following one hundred times:
ْ ْ
‫اﻟ َﻌﻔ ُﻮ اﻟ َﻌﻔ ُﻮ‬
‫ ﻣﻌﺎ ۔‬، ‫ﻣﻌﺎ‬
(I plead for) pardon; (I plead for) pardon.
: ‫ﻌﺪ ﺳ ﺪ اﺑﻦ ﻃﺎوس ﻓﺮﻣﺎ ﮨ‬ ‫اس‬
Sayyid Ibn Tawus, then, adds,
‫ﻧﮧ ﮔﺰار ﮟ ﮐﮧ ﺗﺠﮭ ﻧﮩ‬ ‫اور اﭘ اس روز ﻋ ﺪ ﮐﻮ ﮐﮭ ﻞ ﮐﻮد اور ﺎر ﺎﺗﻮں ﻣ‬
‫اﻋﻤﺎل رد ﻮ ﮨ ﺎ ﻗﺒﻮل ﻮ ﮨ‬ ‫ﻣﻌﻠﻮم آ ﺎ ﺗ‬
“Do not spend this day with entertainment and negligence
while you do not know whether your deeds have been
accepted or rejected.
‫ﺗﻮ اس ﭘﺮ ﺗﺠﮭ ﺑﮩ ﻦ ﻃ‬ ‫اﻣ ﺪ‬ ‫ﺲ ا ﺮ ﺗﺠﮭ ان ﻗﺒﻮل ﻮ‬
‫رد ﻮ ﺎ ڈر ﺗﻮ ﺗﺠﮭ اس ﭘﺮ‬ ‫ﺷﮑﺮ ادا ﮐﺮﻧﺎ ﭼﺎ ﯿ اور ا ﺮ ﺗﺠﮭ اﻋﻤﺎل‬
‫ﮔﮩﺮ ﻏﻢ ﻣ ڈو ر ﻨﺎ ﭼﺎ ﯿ ۔‬
Rather, if you hope of acceptance of your deeds, you must
show thanks; and if you anticipate rejection, you must be
intensely sad.”

‫َو َﺻ ا ُ ﻋ ُﻣ َﺤ ﱠﻤ ٍﺪ َو ِآﻟ ِﮧ ٲ ْﺟ َﻤ ِﻌ َ ۔‬
ؑ ‫ﺗﻤﺎم‬ ؐ
‫آل ﭘﺮ ﷲ رﺣﻤﺖ ﻓﺮﻣﺎ ۔‬ ‫اور ﻣﺤﻤﺪ اور اﻧ‬
and (please do) bless Muhammad and the Household of
Muhammad (all of them)
َ
‫ﻗ َﺮأة ﺳﻮرة اﻟﻔﺎﺗﺤﺔ إ اﻟﺘﻤﺎس ﺳﻮرە ﻓﺎﺗﺤﮧ ﺑﺮا‬ ‫ﻳﺮ‬ ‫ﻣﺆﺳﺴﺔ ﺗﮩﺬﯾﺐ‬
"‫"اﺑﻮ ﻇﻔﺮ ﻇﻔﺮ ﺣ ﺎ " اﺑﻦ "ﷴ ﺣ ﺎت ﺨﺶ‬
