Grassland Project – Due Wednesday, May 15

Students must create a diorama display of a grassland habitat using a


shoebox (or other small box). Choose either the American grassland (prairie)
or the African grassland (savanna), and then select one plant and one animal
to feature in your display. Make sure to not mix living things from America
and Africa. Be creative! Use construction paper, clay, pipe cleaners, felt, toy
animals, or other supplies to make your project awesome! (See examples
below.)

Research your plant and animal. Neatly handwrite three facts about your
plant on one notecard and three facts about your animal on another
notecard. Attach the notecards to your project.
