CHAPTER-1
Introduction
Day by day in our India violence against in women is occurring day by day. In act that is the
breach of law and that can lead a person liable to be tried in court of law.
The India penal code 1860 uses the word “OFFENCE” in the place of the “crime”. Section 40
of the IPS defence “Offence is the act of the punishable code “.
The term violence against women is means any act of the gender based on the violence that
result in or it likely to result in the physical, sexual and the psychological harm or suffering to
women including the threats of such acts, arbitrary deprivation of liberty, whether occurring I
the public or the private life .
The property crimes represent almost the 70% of the total crimes for the women. And around
the 30% of the men who are in the prison. The share of the drugs and the crimes is almost twice
as the high among the men as among the women.
The number of violent crimes in India especially those against women are increasing
with each passing year. Ranging from the so-called eve-teasing and outright sexual harassment
on the street or workplace to harassment for dowry, molestations, acid attacks, and the often-
reported rape, these crimes against women reflects the deep-rooted problems related to the
position of women in Indian society. The number of violent crimes in India especially those

CHAPTER-2
Methodology
2.1 Collection of Data Sets
We collected our data sets from Kaggle.com where all types of data sets are available, as we required the
data sets on the topic “Impact of Covid-19 On Tourism in India” in such a way that can be easily
analyzable and visualizable.
2.2 Data Preprocessing and Filtering
As the datasets we have collected previously, there were some data that was not relevant to our project
so we had to remove some unwanted data and format it as required.
2.3 Storyboard Development
We developed stories from the collected data sets by using the given data as Country wise visitors’
ways, Country wise yearly and quarterly visitors and accordingly their age group, monthly fee from
tourists and tourism imports through different ways.
2.4 Data Analysis
After creating stories from the data sets, we have done the analyzing to it by using panda’s library and
function like ‘group by ()’, ‘sum ()’, ‘max ()’, ‘avg ()’, etc. Which gave us the summary of each story.
2.5 Data Visualization
After doing the analyzing part we have done the visualizing to each analysis by using plotly.express and
matplotlib which are the libraries used to create graph ,so that we can easily understand the given data
through graph ,we used ‘Bar graph’ , ‘Line chart’ , ‘Pie chart’ , ‘Scatter graph’ in our visualization.

CHAPTER-3
STORY BOARD DEVELOPMENT
The storyboarding phase of project planning begins early in the project development process and
gives teams an opportunity to brainstorm ideas, creatively and visually identify objectives and goals,
discuss potential challenges and bottlenecks, and organize the key tasks and milestones needed for
successful project completion.

CHAPTER-4
Data Analysis And Visualization
4.1 DATA ANALYSIS
Data analysis, is a process for obtaining raw data, and subsequently converting it into
information useful for decision-making by users. Data, is collected and analyzed to answer
questions, test hypotheses, or disprove theories.
A simple example of data analysis can be seen whenever we make a decision in our daily lives
by evaluating what has happened in the past or what will happen if we make that decision.
Basically, this is the process of analyzing the past or future and making a decision based on that
analysis.

4.7 Data Visualization

The process of finding trends and correlations in our data by presenting it

pictorially is called Data Visualization. To perform data visualization in python,
we can use various python data visualization modules such as Matplotlib,
Plotly ,etc

CHAPTER-5
Results & Discussion

 From the above analysis 4.1 the result of each story is given below:
 We learnt the data about crimes in India
 For data visualization we did,

 Analysing of areas and cases recovered from fig 1

 Analyzing on cases property stolen from fig 2
 Analyzing the crimes over days from fig 3
 On bar graph representation from fig 4
 Accordingly, to the analysis of the crimes rate in India it is a 7.65 % annually
decreases from the 51,51,172 crimes in India in 2020.
 The crime rate (per 1,00,000) has decreased from 487.8 in 2020 to 445.9 in 2021. It is
significantly higher from the 385.5 in 2019 .
 The first state in India which held the first position in crimes is Uttar Pradesh . And
the second state in India is now Andra Pradesh, where more cases and the number of
the crimes are occurring .
o Analyzing on cases property recover from fig 1
o Analyzing on value pf property recovery from fig 2 on scatter plot

CHAPTER:6
FUTURE SCOPE & CONCLUSION

 Future Scope
The crimes from different countries have been in the state wise and
the district wise ,located in India. We can analyze and visualize the
majority of crimes are interested in which crimes wise state wise and
the district wise ,so that further course of action to taken for those
stop those crimes .Further a live Dashboard can be developed for
tracking the crimes data country wise, monument wise as well as age
groupwise.

 Conclusion
The concept of crime has been defined from the social and legal stand point. What is a
criminal behavior depending upon the legal codes of a particular society.
The legal definitions of crime are more objective. The official statistics on crime are based
on the legal definitions. All the empirical studies on criminals are done according to the
crime defined by law.
