Double-Sided Debates Spark Intellectual Fire

On August 12th, 2023, our school's auditorium buzzed with vibrant discussions as students participated in engaging double-sided
debates.

This innovative format encouraged students to present arguments both for and against compelling topics.

Class 6: Grappling with Technology and Reading Preferences

Sahas House and Sneha House engaged in a spirited debate on whether "Children today are way too dependent on technology."

Simultaneously, Satya House and Sanyam House explored the timeless question of "Paper books vs.

E-books."

Both debates illuminated the evolving impact of technology and the enduring charm of traditional reading materials.

Class 7: Navigating Core Subjects and Learning Methods

Sneha House and Sanyam House went head-to-head over the significance of math in education.

Meanwhile, Sahas House and Satya House debated the intriguing topic of "Home schooling vs. regular school attendance."

These debates underscored the varying perspectives on fundamental subjects and alternative educational approaches.

Class 8: Equipping for Real-World Challenges

Satya House and Sanyam House examined the importance of life skills education, while Sahas House and Sneha House delved into
the idea of "After-school jobs/internships."

These discussions provided insightful glimpses into practical learning and post-education opportunities.

Recognizing Exceptional Speakers

Class 6 featured the impressive oratory of Shaurya Rajput (Sanyam House), while Aarush Singh (Sneha House) stood out in Class 7.

In Class 8, Sharon Kapoor (Sanyam House) and Manashi Sundrriyal (Sahas House) exhibited remarkable debating skills.

Outcome and Closing Thoughts

As the event drew to a close, Sanyam House clinched the top position, followed by Sneha House in second, Satya House in third,
and Sahas House in fourth.

The double-sided debates held on August 12th showcased our students' analytical acumen, communication prowess, and their
ability to view topics from multiple angles.

It was a testament to our commitment to nurturing well-rounded and thoughtful individuals within our school community.
