Modelling & Operations Research & GAMS

My colleague, Prof. Dr. Alf Kimms, provides tutorials on Youtube on formulating mathematical
models. Mathematical models are the prerequisite for applying Operations Research methods to
planning problems in Operations and Supply Chain Management.

In our course, we will discuss a series of mathematical models. In the following, I highlight those
parts of the tutorial that will be most useful for understanding our course's mathematical models.
Of course, feel free to watch the other tutorials, which give an excellent overview in an admirable
didactical way to formulating mathematical models.

Questions will be answered in the tutorial. Please send questions concerning the videos to my E-
Mail address.
