number of interesting experiences. Firstly, that journey gave me a chance of doing many different activities that inner-city children like me had never tried before. I cut down wood outside with the aid of an adult, tidied up the living areas of the animals which was so smelly. Secondly, in that journey I had an accasion to try lots of locally produced food that there were not any in big cities. For instance, I tried organic produce from the farm, fresh vegetables and salads, puddings using the home-grown fruits which were extremely delicious. Moreover, I knew some typical ways the local inhabitants there employed to have little or no influence on our environment. They raised castles, consumed solar power as a source of energy, recycled domestic waste and utilized natural resources like rainwate around the field. In addition, during the joourney, I stood a chance of experiencing the life in the countryside. I had the feeling of relaxation when I was in wide-open spaces to hear the wind blowing and the sound of birdsong which I had never tried in urban areas. I aslo had mixed feelings. Initially, I was not only afraid of getting dirty when doing some activities but panic definitely not to use mobile phones as well. However, I got accustomed to it and felt enjoyable. In a nutshelll, I had a whale of time on Jamie’s farm.
