Yojany: Good afternoon teacher and classmates. We are going to present our Project Part II.
My name is Yojany Bernal Vásquez
Iván: And my name is Iván Vega Dominguez. Let’s get started!
Iván: We are here to promote some tourist places in Máncora. Yojany is one of our assistants at IPERU. He
knows a lot of information about this amazing city. Yojany, tell us what you know about Máncora.
Yojany: Well, Máncora has beautiful places to visit.
Iván: Where can I go?
Yojany: You can go to Catacaos where there are craft fairs, they do an incredible job with silver.
Iván: Are there any stores in Catacaos?
Yojany: Sure! There are restaurants, pastry, ice cream parlors shops and lots of stores.
Iván: I like swimming. Are there any beaches?
Yojany: Of course! There are many beaches here in Mancora, one of them is the organs where you can swim
with turtles.People can go with family and friends.
Iván: What other beach do you recommend?
Yojany: Vichayito is another awesome place.
Yojany: Is located on the Old Panamericana North Km 1211, families visit it on weekends.
Iván: That’s interesting! And what can you see in Piura?
Yojany: You can go humpback whale watching, specialists recommend that the best time to appreciate the
passage of humpback whales and other marine species, such as sea lions, dolphins, sea turtles and spot blue-
footed boobies is between 07:00 and 11:00 am.
Iván: Where I can eat a delicious northern-style ceviche: with chifles and a little tomato?
Yojany: You can eat at a ¨La Meche¨ restaurant, located behind the Mancoreno market.
Iván: What is the price of the ceviches?
Yojany: Prices vary between 40 and 60 soles per person. If there is any cebiche that you have to try in the north,
it is this one.
