Overview
This guide will show you how to install Genta Automation.

This solution is an AI based software automation tool. This tool is used to provide users of
all different technical levels (novice to expert), the ability to build automation processes
for a wide range of technical and non-technical processes.

Software Topology
This product contains 2 software applications:

Genta Worker - performs the automations.

Genta Desktop - used to create automations.

The Genta Worker will also take care of connecting and interacting with cloud services
required for the automation processes.

The Genta Worker can be installed on a remote machine for ‘unattended’

automations. For most users who are just getting started with Genta, it may be easier to
install both Genta Worker and Genta Desktop on the same machine.

Installation

1. Genta Automation will download as a .ZIP file. After downloading the zip file,
extract to a folder of your choosing.

2. Run the Genta Worker vX.X.X.X.exe first.

If you are testing a single-system setup, both the Genta Worker and the Genta
Desktop would be installed on the same system.

If a multi-system (2 machine) setup is used, install the Digital Worker on the system
that will be performing the automation (typically a remote machine such as a
VM/virtual machine), and install Genta Desktop on the machine that will be
designing and executing/triggering the workflow automations (typically this is the
user’s machine).

3. Click Yes on the User Account Control warning.

4. Installer is loading, wait a moment for it to initialize.

5. Click Next on the Welcome Screen.

6. If .NET Desktop Runtime is not installed on the system, it will be installed as part of
this process. Click Next.

7. When the Microsoft Windows Desktop Runtime - X.X.X installation

window comes up, click on Install.

8. Click Close on the Installation was successful screen.

9. Place a check next to the I agree to the License terms and conditions box and
click Install.

10. Once the installation completes, click on Finish on the successfully installed screen.

11. Next follow the same steps to install Genta Desktop vX.X.X.X.exe.

12. Once both applications have been installed, they will both need to be registered
using the appropriate license key for each application. You should have received
both license numbers via email from Cognillo. If you have not received your
license key, please contact support@cognillo.com and we will send them to you.

13. Both applications should appear under the Recently added list in the Windows
Start menu. If they do not appear in Recently added, please look for the Cognillo
folder. Both applications will be listed under the folder.

14. Open Genta Worker and enter the email address used during registration on the
Cognillo.com website, as well as the Activation Key provided by Cognillo in the
email. Click Activate.

15. Follow the same steps to activate Genta Desktop.

Once both applications have been activated, Genta is ready for use. Please ensure
that both the Genta Worker and Genta Desktop are running and shows
online/connected when building automations.
