WBC Measurement Principle
This method bases on the
measurement of changes in
electrical resistance produced
by a blood cell, suspended in a
conductive diluent as it passes
through an aperture of known
dimensions, and this change
will produces a measurable
electrical pulse. The number of

number of WBCs that have
passed through the aperture.
HGB Measurement Principle
This method bases on the
measurement of emitting a beam
of LED light through the diluted
HGB sample mixed with a
certain amount of the hemolysin,
and it can be measurable at 525-
535 nanometer by a photo diode.
The signal is then amplified and
the voltage is measured and
Colorimetric Method
compared to the blank reference
reading.
RBC/PLT Measurement Principle
This method is an improved
method of the Impedance
method. The diluted sample is
pushed into the conical chamber
by the sample nozzle, and
wrapped by reagent in the
anterior sheath flow through the
center of the aperture. And the
Sheath Flow Impedance Method accuracy and reproducibility of
blood cell counting will be
improved by the sheath flow
technique.
 Function of hydraulic module

Sample Aspiration and Distribution Module

This module consists of the syringe, probe and swab.

Function: Aspirate the blood sample and distribute
the dosing sample to the RBC-Mix Chamber and
WBC Pool.
WBC/HGB Detecting Module

This module consists of WBC/HBG Detecting

Assembly, Dosing Pump, Isolation Pool.
Function: WBC and HGB detecting.
RBC/PLT Detecting Module

This module consists of RBC Pool, Isolation

Pool, Syringe.
Function: RBC and PLT counting.
Reagent Dosing Module

This module consists of Dosing Pump, Solenoid Valve,

Optical Coupler.
Function: Lyse, diluent monitor and dosing.
Waste Collection Module

This module consists of Isolation Pool, Solenoid

Valve, Waste Collection Pool.
Function: Waste collection.
Diluent Supplement Module

This module consists of Diluent Pool, Solenoid Valve.

Function: Supply diluent to the diluent pool and
diluent output.
Air Circuit Module

This module consists of Air Pump, Air Tank, Protection Pool,

Pressure Regulating Valve, Check Valve.
Function: Supply pressure and vacuum.
 Hydraulic system components

Syringe

Function: Aspirate and distribute blood sample & diluent.

Principle: The motor will drive the piston in the syringe doing
reciprocating motion to realize aspirating and discharging
the sample and diluent.
Dosing pump

Function: Lyse, diluent dosing and WBC/PLT detecting.

Principle: The dosing pump consists of liquid cavity, air
cavity and a diaphragm. The vacuum or pressure of the air
cavity will cause the changes of the diaphragm, and the
dosing pump will make the action of aspirating or
discharging.
Solenoid valve

2-way solenoid valve 3-way solenoid valve

Function: Connect or disconnect the hydraulic system,

switch channels.
Principle: Via the action of diaphragm or rocker inside the
valve.
Pinch valve

Function: Connect or disconnect the hydraulic system.

Principle: The tubing in the groove of pinch valve can be
pinched by mechanical component to control the connection
or disconnection of the hydraulic system. Pinch valves are
usually used in somewhere easy corrosion and blocking.
Air pump

Function: Supply the pressure and vacuum for the hydraulic

system.
