Is a Government of Ireland postgraduate scholar at University College Cork.
His research project, funded by the Irish Research Council, examines the role of
animals in the works of Federigo Tozzi, Dino Buzzati and Anna Maria Ortese.
He has published articles on topics surrounding Contemporary Italian Litera-
ture on peer–reviewed journals, newspapers and through online blogs.

Is a PhD candidate in Italian literature at the Department of Romance Studies
and Classics, Stockholm University, investigating the language, space and colors
of Italian Postcolonial literature for children (2010–2021). She has published
academic and non–academic articles on Postcolonial Studies, Memory Studies,
canonization and higher education.
