1. Tell me about yourself?

Hi, my name is Rattanan Wanikorn, you can call me Earth. I graduated from Thammasat Business School,
majoring in Accounting and Finance with the first-class honors. After graduation, I have had 2 experiences in
banking industry.

First, I was working as an assistant to manager of risk management team at Citibank. My main duty was to
supervise unsecured product portfolio including credit card and personal loan in order to minimize the
expected credit loss. Moreover, to generate a new thing to the bank, I and my team decided to create a
covid-19 relief program for our clients. With team’s achievement, we were able to relieve 1.7 M of both credit
card and personal loan’s clients.

Currently, I am working as an assistant to manager of risk management team at MUFG bank. My main
responsibility is to publish credit underwriting policies for both retail and corporate banking and initiate the
development of credit risk scoring and model in the line with IFRS 9 for the expected credit loss along with
PD, LGD, and EAD. With team’s accomplishment, I and my team are able to minimize $165 M of the
expected credit loss, leading to gain $1 B of net income.

To summarize, there is a word called IPA which truly represents myself. I stand for Integrity, P is Possibility,
and A is Action. Last but not least, Goldman Sachs will recognize me entirely because Earth will make
things possible at Goldman Sachs.

2. How to overcome difficulty?

Up to present, I have been through a lot of difficulties in my life; some of them make me weaker but most of
them make me stronger. 1 year ago, I was assigned to achieve one of the most complicated tasks I had ever
experienced in my life. The task was to help my clients overcome covid-19 pandemic.

Let me tell you a story.

In 2020, covid-19 began to hit a lot of people including my clients. We were struggling and it was absolutely
blank to me at the beginning however when I was able to bring myself in full of my consciousness, here is
what I have found.

Firstly, I have to understand what was a root cause of the problem and the real problem was clients who got
infected became unemployed. Consequently, they were lacking sources of income and unable to make debt
repayment, leading to higher non-performing loan.
Secondly, I have to dedicatedly plan to see every single possibility which turns out opportunities, refinance,
to my clients.
Lastly, I have to optimize all of my surrounding resources such as drafting proposal, seeking all approvals
from the management team, and implementing covid-19 relief program to my clients.

With team’s achievement, 1.7 M of my clients not only survive but also surpass to strive excellences during
covid-19 pandemic.

To summarize, understanding, planning, and optimizing are the three keys to overcoming all difficulties.
3. What is your greatest or proudest achievement?

To my greatest achievement, it is a covid-19 relief program which was created to help my clients to
overcome covid-19 pandemic.

Let me tell you a story.

In 2020, covid-19 began to hit a lot of people including my clients. Government announced lockdown policy;
we were forced to live in our own accommodation and unemployment rate had risen dramatically.
Consequently, people were lacking sources of income and unable to make debt repayment, leading to
higher non-performing loan.

Therefore, a covid-19 relief program was officially introduced to my clients. The program included 2 options
comprising of refinance and rewrite. In terms of refinance, clients who had not yet been default were
provided with interest reduction and installment extension whereas for rewrite, clients who had already been
default were given interest reduction, installment extension, and skip payment.

With team’s achievement, 1.7 M of my clients not only survive but also surpass to strive excellences during
covid-19 pandemic.

In terms of return, covid-19 relief program was not attractive and this is not the biggest moving forward.
However, this is the largest moving backward because none of my clients should have been left behind.
These clients are going to become the most powerful engine for us in the future.
