1. (Example posted)
2. The teacher asks the students individually about their dream professions, favorite food,
color, pet, and toys and share it to the class.
3. The students are free from their actions but limited because the teacher imposed a
classroom rules.
4. The teacher has its own way of classroom management where the students can enjoy
and participate at the same time like, singing, dancing and group activities.
5. The teacher is not just focusing on the lesson itself but also integrating it to other
subject areas and relating it to real life situation so that everybody can relate to the
discussion.
6. The teacher shows some pictures that every student has or have every day as a
motivational activity
7. The teacher integrates the subject to the other subject areas by connecting the topics
and the examples to the students.

When it comes to teaching, the best method for me is the experiential learning teaching
method because the more the students reflect from their experiences, the more they will
understand things around them by themselves. Also, experiential learning helps the lesson more
student-centered approach since every activity and part of the lesson, the students are involved
and the main character to accomplish the topic. They learn better when most of their senses are
involved in the discussion.

We select the appropriate strategy for our lesson by looking at the learning competency,
learning outcomes of the lesson and the students. Through looking at these three factors, I can
think about the strategies that I can use enable to make the discussion more interesting and
interactive for the students.

1. Yes, some teachers show and read their learning outcomes at the beginning of the class which
is after the energizer. The teacher tells and introduces to the class that “Class this will be our
learning outcomes for this lesson”
2. The teaching-learning activities that he always uses to help him attain the lesson objectives are
the lecture-discussion and brainstorming. In this, he can further discuss the lesson to the students
and let them understand very well the concepts since the subject is araling panlipunan, he
integrates the lesson to other areas through lecture discussion.
3. The assessment and tasks that the teachers employ which are always aligned to the lesson
objectives are performance tasks and assessments. One example of performance tasks are the
drawing outputs, physical activities in PE, and group quiz while, in assessments, there are
quizzes and activities in multiple choice, true or false, and fill in the blanks.
According to Teacher 1, Outcome-Based Teaching and Learning (OBTL) the learners are
directed as to what to do during a specific class period, and he also believed that based on
experience, having a guide as to what the learners should do will enable them to acquire all of
the necessary knowledge and skills from that particular topic. He also added that, learners will
develop their independence with OBTL because in this method, the teacher just serves as a
facilitator and the learners undertake the majority of the task. Aside from the fact that OBTL
helps students understand the knowledge they need to gain in a set amount of time, it also helps
them perform effectively because it establishes the benchmark for how well they should be
performing in each work they are given.

Teacher 2 thoughts about the Outcome-Based Teaching and Learning (OBTL)is that, it
falls within the domain of outcome-based education. In his perspective, OBTL involves aligning
lesson objectives with activities and assessments and ensuring that pupils take active
participation in learning process. He also added that, it ensures that these objectives are reflected
in learners' assessments, including authentic assessments, activities, and performances. In this
approach, the teacher acts as a facilitator in the teaching and learning process. Lastly, OBTL
empowers learners to construct their own significant learning experiences, fostering holistic
development.

My reflection about OBTL is that, it not just helps the students to learn but it also helps
the teachers to lessen the teacher-centered strategy since the teacher’s task in OBTL is to
facilitate the learners. It does not mean that the teachers are facilitators, the teacher will now let
the students do by their own, no. Here, the teacher’s presence is also always present but provides
only a few guidance. Also, OBTL focuses on the outcome, means that outputs are important to
see if the students really understand of learned something from their lesson. It is mainly on the
process of learning and the result rather than the topic itself only.

1. Who is absent today? What day is today? When will be our exam? Where are the personal
kits?
- These example questions can only be answered by one answer.
2. These questions can be answered by multiple answers. Example, what are the importance of
eating vegetables and fruits?
a. Why do you love to eat vegetables and fruits?
b. Why do we need to eat vegetables and fruits?
c. Does candies are more important than vegetables and fruits?
d. What benefit do we get if we eat nutritious food?
e. What are the examples of nutritious foods? Give me one.
3. Do you already know why do we need to eat nutritious foods?
1. Yes, all the student’s questions which are their curiosity can be filled up by the teacher through
giving them the answers which are the knowledge. This has something to do with the type of
questioning techniques of the teachers and the way they respond or their appreciation towards the
responses of their pupils. It is very important that the teacher’s questions should be appropriate to
the level of understanding of the pupils and the response to the right or wrong answer should be
proper to avoid discouraging the confidence of the pupils.

It is very important for a teacher to use a various reacting technique because it would be
sounds boring if a teacher always says very good to every answer of the student even thought it
was wrong. The teacher can think of different reacting words or expressions to use because it
will help the students to maintain their being active in class or be more motivated to participate.
