BRICKS MAKING PROCESS

The diagram illustrates the process used to make bricks for use in building. There are
seven stages to this process, beginning with removing the clay from the ground and
ending with packaging and delivery the bricks to the final destinations.

First of all, a digger will remove the clay, which use to make bricks, from the ground.
Then, the clay is placed onto a metal grid which breaks down the clay onto small
pieces. An roller will tranfer the clay to the next step. Sand and water are added to the
clay in the third step, and this mixture is moved to a mould or using the wire cutter to
make the small bricks. After that, the bricks is put into a oven to dry for 24 to 48
hours. Next, those bricks are put through a heating and cooling process. It heats the
bricks in the moderate temperature at about 200 celsius to 980 celsius first. Then the
temperature gets higher at about 870 celsius to 1300 celsius in a kiln. Following this,
those bricks are moved into a cooling chamber for 48 to 72 hours. Finally, the bricks
are packaged and delivered to the final destinations.
