Program start IWD 1 and IWD 2.

Fill the basket. For the optimum washing result, the basket should not be
overfilled.
Large items, such as trays and bowls, should not be placed flat in the
basket, since they would then keep the water from hitting other items.
Scissors and similar instruments should be opened 90°. Place small items
in a closed wire basket, so they will not run down the drain and damage
the pump.
Do not overfill the basket; place items so as to allow water jets to hit all
items from the top and the bottom.

IWD 2 is also able to wash and disinfect up to 6 hollow cavity

instruments. The flexible Quick-Click System is used for instruments
from 1 to 18 mm. Notice the colours red for small, blue for medium and
yellow and green for large diameters on the different connections. Plug off
connections that are not in use.
IWD2 cannot wash hollow cavity instruments that are all clogged; it must
thus be checked that water through-flow is possible, before the instrument
is placed in the basket.

Push the basket into the washing chamber and check that it touches the
coupling at the back of the washing chamber.
Close the door; then push the start button to activate a washing program.
! The door is locked throughout the program sequence. Do not try to
force the door open!

When the program is done, the door opens - approx. 30mm , thereby
allowing vapours to escape and the items to dry (the heat from the items
will make the water evaporate).
Note! Be careful if you remove the items just after the program has
! ended. If the program includes disinfection, the items will be hot!

Operating disturbances In case of error in the program sequence, the program will stop and the
display will show the error.
Press the start button to acknowledge receipt of the error message. Drain
the water out of the Washer; the door can now be opened.
The items are not disinfected correct the error and restart the
Washer!

! Regarding error types and remedial action, cf. the Instruction Manual.
