INT. LIVING ROOM - NIGHT
Loud music. Indistinct chanting. A crowd is stood round a
table. On it is a game of beer pong. On one end, PLAYER 1 is
surrounded by a crowd of his arsehole mates. He's the tallest
in the room, his head is above the crowd, and he doesn't seem
the slightest bit drunk.
On the other end, PLAYER 2 chugs a beer, with a small group
of pals behind him. He's small and wiry, clearly drinking
more than he can handle. Beer dribbles down his shirt.
PLAYER 2 finishes of his beer, the crowd cheers, he falls
backwards into his pals and they lift him to his feet. He
wipes his mouth with his sleeve and does his best to raise a
ball to his eye level. He throws and misses. The crowd
cheers.
PLAYER 1 raises the ball to eye level, grinning. His friend
says something in his ear, he laughs. He throws and misses.
PLAYER 1 PLAYER 2
'Nawwww! 'Yaaaasss!
The crowd audibly reacts. PLAYER 2 burps, raises a ball to
eye level and throws.
The ball goes in, the crowd can't believe it. PLAYER 1's face
is thunder. His friend passes the beer and he chugs it at
speed...
He finishes his drink quickly and looks PLAYER 2 dead in the
eye.
PLAYER 2 meets his eyes, grinning.
PLAYER1 shakes himself off and takes the shot.
He misses. The room cheers. The crowd around PLAYER 2 has
grown. He throws his ball in the air, fails to catch it,
drops out of frame, and pops back up with the ball. He raises
it in the air with pride. Then, HE TAKES THE SHOT.

CLOSE UP
The ball glides through the air towards the cup in SLOW-
MOTION. It reaches the rim. Will it go in?
--CUT TO BLACK--
 2.

MASTER SHOT
The room erupts. PLAYER 2 suddenly hurls on the table. An
awkward silence comes over the room.
END.
