To whom it may concern:

I am writing this letter of reference at the request of Owen Webster who is applying for
various jobs, scholarships and or admission to further his education.

I became acquainted with Owen during the last three school years. Owen is one of my
best students and is receiving an “A” letter grade in my Business Entrepreneurship class.
Each year I typically have several students who request letters of recommendation,
however I only provide letters to those students who are most qualified. Based on
Owen’s grades, attendance and class participation, I'd rate Owen’s academic
performance in my class as superior.

Owen has a number of strengths to offer any program or employer. Owen has shown
me that he has a drive both in completing work and in excelling at business. For
example, he can apply and use his knowledge in marketing, Excel budgeting and team-
based presentation skills.

In conclusion, I would highly recommend Owen. If his performance in my class is any

indication of how he'd perform in your program, Owen will be a positive addition to your
