REGISTRY OF BARANAGY INHABITANTS (RBI) INFORMATION
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OF DY-ABRA, TUMAUINI, ISABELA

BRIEF BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

Barangay Banig/Dy-Abra is a remote area located in the Municipality of Tumauini, it is
located within the vicinity of Sierra Madre Mountain Range. Despite of the fast growth of the of
the municipality of Tumauini, with regards to businesses, infrastructure and superstructure, to
social welfare and technological advantages, Barangay Dy-Abra is still had a hard time to cope
with the advancement the municipality is making.
With regards to the data and information management, while other barangay had
already their system in storing their data, most especially on their registry of barangay
inhabitants, they had computer sets, laptops, and even database, Barangay Dy-Abra is still
doing a traditional ‘paper-and-pen’ technique on gathering information and storing the paeper
they have used as the hard copy of the data they gather. Because of being a remote area,
Barangay Dy-Abra had a minimal amount of technology that can be used on data and
information management, but most of the Barangay Officials and its Employees can’t and don’t
know how access or to use even the minimal source they had to make their work faster
accurate and efficient.
If only, Barangay Dy-Abra could generate a system or someone could generate it for
them, completing their tasks would be much faster an dit would also allow them to cope with
the development of the municipality. The system would also allow them to store data much
safer and to access it much easier. Barangay Employees and residents in barangay dy-abra
will benefit from an efficient approach to completing tasks faster and providing information
based on their profiles.

PROJECT GOAL
The main goal of this project is to improve the efficiency and reliability in providing,
storing, accessing the information of and for all the residents that will be requesting certificates,
data, and other related information, and to reduce the hustle in providing their requests.

PURPOSE OF PROPOSAL
The Purpose of this Proposal is to help the Barangay Officials and Employees of
Barangay Dy-Abra in much safe record-keeping, storing, faster retrieval, increased reliability,
and faster file tracking of the data and information gather within the constituents of Barangay
Dy-Abra, Tumauini, Isabela.

OBJECTIVE OF THE PROPOSE STUDY

The main Objective of the Propose Study will mainly focused on the constituents’
information that can be used to generate a more systematic way of storing and accessing the
data of the constituents.
