This system will provide and satisfy the barangay file management

for convenient access and will ease their work in terms of storing and

managing the barangay Poblacion Sur, Santa Maria, Ilocos Sur files. Our

team is focusing on possible improvement and innovation in terms of the

system that we are proposing. We are aiming to lessen the hassle of storing

and managing files, and to reduce misplacing their files. This system will

cover all their files including Kagawad reports, BNS and BHW reports, and

even secretary and treasurer reports, and other important matters that they

are dealing with such as releasing certificates for their clients.

ADDITIONAL LEARNING AND RESULT

As we are doing our interview to our respondents, we found out that most

of them are not Computer literate, but they are willing to learn and to cooperate

with us. So, as the result of the interview we defined their needs that we can use as

a reference to our system.

USER NEEDS:

As the result of doing our brainstorming we identified the user

needs that will help us to build our proposed system that will benefits and

help the barangay staff. So as the result we come up with the user needs

such as, Health monitoring for BNS and BHW staffs, Barangay storage

management, and Accessing client transactions/needs.

As we did brainstorm, we reanalyze the user needs that were first listed

above and we conclude that this user needs below will be the final reference

SOLUTIONS

CLIENT REQUIREMENTS TRANSACTION We come up

with these user needs because sometimes barangay staffs are often absent

or busy with their work, so we thought of making these features for our

proposed system to accommodate client requirements. So, with this feature,

all clients will be accommodated even if the barangay staff are absent or

busy.

BARANGAY HEALTH MONITORING We come up with this

user need because BHW and BNS are having difficulty in recording data and

monitoring their zones. So, with these features will facilitate the work of BHW

and BNS and to avoid confusion and loss of important files.

BARANGAY RECORDS MANAGEMENT We come up with this

user need because of the first reason - some residents are in other cities or

provinces, so they have difficulty getting barangay records. So, with this

feature residents can access our system through online registration to

transact with their needs.

The second reason is also Some of barangay

officials can easily lose their personal records if they are using only manual

file records like books or other manual records that can be use into their

barangay. So, with this feature of our proposed system, barangay officials

can safely save their personal records, and the personal records of the

barangay officials will not lose but will be stored for a lifetime.
