Getting Started
1.1 Sign up
The first page of the quiz app web interface contains two
buttons viz. Sign up and Log in. If you are visiting the web interface
for the first time click on the Sign up button. Fig 1.1a shows the first
page of the web interface.

Clicking on the Sign up button will take you to the Sign up page. Fill
in the form with your details and click on Sign up button.

* The ID field in the Sign up page is your college ID. Refer your
College ID card while entering this field.

Fig 1.1b shows the Sign up page.

1.2 Login

* Click on the Login button on the first page to enter the login page.

* Enter your College ID as username and your password to login.

* If you enter the wrong username or password, you will be


redirected to the login page in 5 seconds.

Home Page

Once you login, the Home page comes up. The home page
displays your first name on top and it has four options viz.

i] Create a Class
ii] Host a Quiz
iii] Start / Secure Quiz
iv] Reports and Analysis

2.1 Create Class

The first option in the home page is Create Class.

* You should create a class for every subject you teach.

* The Create class page will ask you the subject code of the
subject you teach and which division you teach.

Fig 2.1b shows the create class page.

Note
* Please check the subject code of your respective subject before
entering it.

* You have to use the create class option only once per subject. DO
NOT create the same class multiple times.

2.2 Host Quiz

Host Quiz helps you to enter the quiz questions and save
them.

Fig 2.1c shows the host quiz page.

* Enter the subject code for which you want to host a quiz.

* Select your division.

* Click on the Let’s go button.

On clicking the Let’s go button, the Questions page comes up.
Fig 2.1d shows the questions page.

* Enter the question, options and answers in the respective text


boxes.

* You can add a picture using the choose file button.

* Size of image should be less than 500kb.

* Please DO NOT enter the Question Number or Option Number


in the text boxes. They are present by default. Enter the questions
and options only.

Suggestion

Type all the questions in MS Word (as you people used to do


earlier). Then copy and paste all the questions and options one by
one into the Questions Page.
By doing so, you will have a copy of all the questions with you.

Note

Before clicking on the submit button,

* Check all your questions and options throughly.

* Check whether you have provided answers (correct answers) for


all the questions.

* If you have a true or false question, keep option A as True and


option B as false. Option C and option D can be kept blank.

* If there is a question which involves complex mathematical


equations, type the question in word, take a screenshot of the
question, crop it and attach it as an image file in the questions
page.

* Once you click on the submit button, your questions will be


recorded.

2.3 Start / Secure Quiz

The third option is start/secure quiz.

Fig 2.1e shows the start / secure quiz page.

This option should be used when you are in your class


and about to start the quiz.

* Enter the subject code and division of the quiz which you want to
start.

* Click on Start Quiz button. Once you click on the Start Quiz
button, the quiz will be available for the students.

After clicking on the Start quiz button, ask your
students to log in through their mobile apps, and start
giving the quiz.
Once everyone logs in, ask your students if they have
received the questions.

When all the students say yes, click on the SECURE


QUIZ button.

* Once the secure quiz button is clicked, no body from outside can
access the quiz and only the students present in your class will be
able to give the quiz.

Fig 2.1f shows the secure quiz button.

* Clicking on the Secure Quiz button is very important. Click on this
button as soon as possible.

* Don’t forget to ask your students whether they have received the
questions before clicking on the secure quiz button.

2.4 Reports and Analysis

The last option is Reports and Analysis. Fig 2.1e shows the
Reports and Analysis page.

* Enter the subject code and, division, quiz number and click on the
Let’s go button. You will get results of your as shown in Fig 2.1h

* At the end of reports page, there is a button called ‘Analysis’.


Clicking on the analysis button gives you information like
attendance, number of correct attempts per question and
percentage. Fig 2.1i shows the Analysis page.

How to take printouts
To take printout of any page follow the following steps.

* Press Ctrl+P if your computer is connected to a printer.

* If your computer is not connected to the printer, press Ctrl+S and


select the folder where you want to save the page. By doing so,
your page will be saved on your desktop. Copy the saved file in a
pen drive and then take a printout.
