Project 2 Written Puth
Project 2 Written Puth
For Project 2, I plan to participate in the Make a Difference Day activity De-trash the
Wabash River around the Brown Street Bridge area and the sidewalks. The event will be held on
Saturday, October 21, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The event is voluntary and free with prior registration
online. During and after the event, I will use the DAE framework to interpret the experience related
to American culture.
Before I go:
To participate in the event, I will register online through the website Eventbrite’ along with
people from my learning community Boiler Serves. I will wake up at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday,
October 21, wear boots and warm clothes, as the weather will be cold and drizzling, and walk to
the Lily School of Science for registration along with my roommate who will also participate in
this event.
When I am at the event, I will be separated into groups and collect trash along the riverside.
During that time, I will take photos and ask my friend to take photos of me doing the activity so
that I can include those photos in my presentation. I will also talk and share ideas with other people
to learn their opinions. In addition, I will do the DAE analysis to assess what I feel and think of
the event.
Before I leave:
I will think briefly about what I will add to the presentation and make sure that I have
already taken enough photos and collected enough information for my presentation.
I will prepare the presentation and script and practice presenting. I will include the DAE
framework I analyzed in the presentation. Then, I will record my presentation and submit the work.
