WRITTEN SUBMISSION IN RESPONSE TO THE NOTICE

In response to the Order of the Hon’ble Court which has been issued by the
Superintendent, I hereby submit my written response to the above Notice as
under:

1. I do not understand as to why this Notice has been served to me by

making the reference as Land Acquisition (LA) for Conservation, Reserve
at Galjibag for Turtle Nesting without providing any details whatsoever?

2. For the past 30-35 years or so that I have been living here in this plot
bearing Survey No.173/1-J admeasuring 1530 sq.m with boundary walls
duly built on all sides, there has been no existence of the Turtle or any
Marine life in my property and I have not seen in the surrounding
properties as well.

3. This plot has been developed and maintained by me since acquisition. It

consist of a Residential house, a well and surrounded by coconut trees
and other plantations.
 4. Location of my Plot:

a) In the North – Property belongs to Mr. Joaquim Dias

b) In the East - mentioned in the record as – footpath/road (part of my
plot was surrendered for this purpose.
c) In the West – Property belongs to Mr. Julio Cardoz, which is facing the
Sea.
d) In the South – Property belongs to Ms. Firmine Barretto.
From the above you will observe that my property is in the midst of
other Residential Houses, etc.

5. CONCLUSION:
In view of the aforesaid information provided by me, I hereby strongly
place my OBJECTION and OPPOSE on record, for surrendering any part of
my said property and to accept any compensation in lieu of the
surrender to the Department for Conservation.
