Organization is structured group of people who come together to meet specific objectives. Organizations
can be found in many areas of life. Some key elements that define organization are purpose, people, structure,
rules and regulations, communication and resources. In essence, an organization is system of coordinated
activities involving a group of people, working together under a defined structure to achieve a common goal.

Organization is a group of people who work together and coordinate their actions to achieve a wide
variety of goals, hence our organization is one of it. Pedro Bunot Central School is a combination of Line and
Functional Organization. All commands flow from top to bottom. In our organization there is unity of
command. Our principal is responsible for giving command and we teachers will unite our forces to take the
command. For example, in developing our teaching style and strategies, the principal will give the command to
our master teachers and the masters teachers will take the command through conducting LAC sessions, training
workshops, and giving feedbacks on Classroom Observations. All suggestions given by the masters will be
applied and taken by the concerned teachers.

On the other hand, it is also a functional type of Organization because our principal is not only a
counselor but also administrator. He will not just give commands rather he will sometimes take the command
himself. Also, He gave advice to us teachers whatever misunderstanding we have.

Moreover, our organization is formal as well as rational in nature. It is characterized by structure of

roles and responsibilities towards common goal, which is to give learners the best knowledge they need with
the best of our abilities. Sometimes it is also rational for there is a goal specificity. There is a chain of command
and division of labor. Just like the NAT conducted last April 4. Our principal gave us the memo then we
teachers coordinated our efforts to help learners review to meet the passing NAT rate. Every teacher took the
discipline they want and taught learners even they are not the advisers. We divided our efforts just to meet our
goal.

Our School also adhere to some elements such as common purpose and division of work. Our school
head assigned respective coordinators among his teachers like the BE, gender and Development, Child
Protection Policy and the Gulayan sa Paaralan. The chairman and its members will plan together in the
implementation process towards the common goals for the learner’s welfare, school and stakeholder as well.

In addition to this, it is also an Open Organization. To meet our goal, we also include the environment. It
has a vital role in improving our school, its maintenance and as to learner’s performance. An organization is not
successful without the help of external agents. As to the definition itself that organization is a constant
interaction among individuals that create social relations. The leadership team includes our principal and other
administrative staff who are responsible for making the decisions and overseeing the operations of our school.
The teacher and staff members who play a crucial role in delivering education managing facilities and
providing support services. Learners who are primary recipient of education, curriculum programs, the
educational programs and extracurricular activities offered by our school to enhance the learning experience
and cater the diverse need of our learners. Parents teachers association facilitates communication between home
and school participates in our school events and initiates. Lastly, the communication channels, this is the
methods used by our school to communicate with stakeholders. These visible elements collectively contribute
to the organizational structure, culture and functioning of our school, shaping the educational experience for all
the members of our school.
